"客室は少々年季が入っていましたが、清潔でした。お風呂はいいお湯でしたが、照明が暗く少し怖かったのと、男風呂は洗い場付近や浴槽のタイルがはがれていたそうです。脱衣所に設置の扇風機がほこりまみれだったのが気になりました。施設の改善はすぐには出来ないと思いますが、掃除で何とかなる部分は改善された方がいいかなと思います。お誕生日のワンコにオヤツやケーキのプレゼントがあったのは嬉しかったです。何より、お風呂以外はワンコと一緒に動きまわれるところが1番です！あと川遊びができるところもサイコーでした！！！"

"石上神宮参拝に朝いちばんに　行きたかったので「やまべ」さんに泊まらせていただきました。素泊まりでしたので　多くは望まなかったしお値段がとてもリーズナブルだったので　それなりだと思います。おばちゃんが　親切でお話するのが楽しかったです。また　自転車を無料で借りられたので　石上神宮まで行くのがショートカットできてありがたかったです。でないと　けっこう歩くことになるので．．．また　天理に行くときには　お願いすると思います。"

"This hotel was amazing!!!! The breakfast was great, the hotel staffs were super kind. i highly recommend this hotel for everyone!!!!!"

"The location in Nara is unbeatable!! The experience was nice and the breakfast was wonderful. Staff was wonderful as well. But the hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The common areas are in really bad shape. At this price range we did expect much better installations. Also are planning to pay extra for the 5 story pagoda view DON’T!! It is under renovation and covered. Looks like you are in front of a big factory warehouse building"

"This is a good hotel, but I would not reccomend it for occidental travellers. Pros: Convenient walkable location. Very spacious and clean room. Convenient lunch/coffee room with free coffee, water, ramen and teas. Japanese breakfast delivered to room (no option for continental breakfast). Need to schedule breakfast time. Coin laundry machine in basement (just 1). Japanese Spa (did not use it) Cons: Very uncomfortable japanese mattress. Shower stays on for 30 sec at a time (need to keep pushing the handle to restart - not terrible / just inconvenient) Noisy in the middle of the night. The Starbucks downstairs gets a vehicle around 4 am and it gets loud moving stuff for a about 20 min. The nearby temple gong sounds 6 times at 6 am. There are no curtains. There is too much light in summer mornings after 6-7 am. The TV is very old. no possibility to beam your device or use apps like Netflix. Bring an HDMI cable if you want to connect your laptop."

"It’s a small inn but the location is excellent and the staff is endlessly helpful. The public bath is nice but like the private bath in my room was a little worn out and I can definitely see someone getting a splinter if they behave like a fools. The daily breakfast was a delightful spread of classic Japanese dishes and everyday a cup of tea and a snack was waiting for me when I got back in the from heat."

"I really love that the staff was so nice. The rooms were very very clean. I was also able to enjoy a private Hanson. I have lots of tattoos so it was nice to be able to go into one. I also have a 15-year-old son who wanted to try and on and really wasn’t prepared for the whole experience if you know what I mean. So he went into the private one as well. It is perfectly located and I actually love that town. I had a really good time. The people are so sweet."

HARUYA Naramachi - Hostel

"This was my favourite place we stayed on our trip so far. It was so quiet and peaceful both in the hostel and the neighbourhood. It’s about a 20 minute walk to get to Nara Park and you’re likely to run into some deer on your way there as they tend to come right into town in addition to hanging in the park. There are laundry facilities and a smoking area in the back garden. Rice porridge is served each morning and there are free and paid beverages available. There was no staff on site due to the financial repercussions of the pandemic, but the autonomous luggage storage and check-in instructions were easy to follow. I will definitely be returning in the future!"
