Mike was good! Easy check-in and check-out, Very quick to our inquiries and easy to talk to! The cottage is great! Clean, big enough for the 5 of us and very modern. Heated floors, hot tub and sauna were all a great touch as it was -30C a couple of our nights there. The only reason it’s not a 5-star has to be with the location it’s self. The host describes the driveway well in the posting and doubles down on it after you book which is great because in the winter you can’t take it lightly. It’s 2-3 minute walk up to your car for guys in decent shape. We were also made aware of having to shovel down at the cottage as this location sees a lot of snow. We had a foot and a half of snow to clear for access to the BBQ, hot tub, sauna and bunky/games room. Again, this was not a surprise but it took the 5 of us about 60-90 minutes to get unpacked and dug out. (No fault to host, just don’t take it lightly) Our group actually enjoyed the sort of adventure this all involved. Lastly, the hot tub has 4 seats, but four guys displaced enough water that we had to refill it. Not the end of the world as the sauna is great! Just use some judgement when having 4 people sit in there to maybe save yourself a little work. We loved the cottage! 10/10 would revisit, 10/10 would also like to see it in the summer someday.
