Ferncliff Cottage on Satulah Ridge is the perfect location in Highlands. Less than 1 mi to Main St. and sitting with tree top views at over 4100 ft in elev.
Newly renovated and beautifully appointed indoor and outdoor living with 2 luxury king bedrooms with their own baths. Relax and enjoy the 9 ft. bar in the all stainless steel and granite kitchen, an entertainers dream with an open floor plan to the well-appointed living area complete with stone fireplace, vaulted wood ceilings, and solid hardwood floors throughout the home. Enjoy the new HVAC system and watch your favorite sports or movies on the new 55" 4K Flat screen TV with High Resolution sound bar.

Ferncliff Cottage is truly the ultimate in bringing the outdoors in, tree top and mountain views from all rooms with a full-length covered porch. Flow directly from the Living-Kitchen area onto the covered porch and breathe in the fresh air while lounging on the outdoor sofa, loveseat or club chairs and ottomans. The covered porch also has a porch swing, rocking chair and dining table and chairs.
You will never want to leave, but when it's time to call it a night, choose between 2 luxurious king bedrooms with Serta Perfect Sleeper Executive Mattresses, beautiful upholstered beds, vaulted wood ceilings with ceiling fans. Wonderful...but

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, clean, well stocked cabin. It offers easy access to town and a welcoming glow from the lovely fireplace. Following Hurricane Helene however, the internet availability was iffy. The cable internet had not been restored yet and our hosts did their best by providing 5G internet to the house. The issue came with the 5G service at the house. Because the internet was in and out so often and we did not have cell service at the house itself, we found it incredibly frustrating. I reiterate, the host did the best they could and I do not blame them however it is worth mentioning. I would categorize it as a first world problem and overall this was a fantastic stay with a responsive host. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting Highlands, NC but check on the status of the internet if that is important to you.

Cozy and comfortable

This home was just what we needed to relax . Everything was at our fingertips. We could sit on the lovely porch and enjoy the outdoors or relax in the living room in comfortable chairs. We came for conversation with old friends and spent most of our time enjoying one another in the comfort of this home . We went into town and ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant and had a cocktail at the Old Edward's Inn. Highlands was so laid back and the stores filled with unique gifts for those back home . It was a delightful stay and I highly recommend this lovely home for a great stay !

Fabulous place in the Highlands

My husband and I drove up from LakeOconee for a long weekend. This house is in a prime location only a mile from Main Street. The house is cozy and clean as a whistle. We had beautiful weather, so the view was great, the fireplace makes for a warm and inviting living room. Place is well stocked and owners were amazing to communicate with. We will be coming back for another visit.
