Great Place to Stay

This was a great house to stay in. Lots of amenities to cook with and great set up close to downtown but far enough away to avoid the traffic. Love the Bird Coop

Excellent Property

This is a fantastic property for a group of adults or a group with kids. Very close to highlands. Every bed room has an attached bathroom which is a huge plus. We really enjoyed our stay.

Guys Weekend

Five long time friends stayed in Highlands for golf, catching up with friends and good food. Loved the Bird Coop! Each man had his own bedroom and bath. Lots of room to relax and close to town. Perfect place!

In the right place

The house was nice, but the heat was very unbalanced. Some rooms were hot and others cold. The location was perfect, but every bed needs to be replaced with a better mattress.

We were in Highlands for a wedding and really enjoyed staying in The Bird Coop. Plenty of room for everyone, located close to the wedding venue and other local attractions. Would highly recommend for anyone in town for an event or just a visit.

Amazing house!!!

The bird coop was amazing!! Everything was clean and organized! They left plenty of toiletries for everyone which was so nice and helpful! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 12 of us staying there! We were a wedding party and we were so close to every where we needed to be throughout the weekend! Thank you Bird Coop for a lovely weekend!!!

Wedding prep perfection!

My family and I enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to the Highlands Country Club. The home is older but it is very spacious, charming and beautifully decorated. I was thrilled to discover a kitchenette with a large refrigerator on the first floor where I was able to keep and arrange flowers for my son’s rehearsal dinner. Loved “The Bird Coop”! :)

NICE PROPERTY, GREAT LOCATION, WELL STOCKED, BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED AND COMFORTABLE. A FEW ITEMS THEY MAY NEED TO ADDRESS-PROBABLY THE OWNER DOES NOT EVEN KNOW, HOUSEKEEPING SHOULD BRING TO THIER ATTENTION: DISWASHER DID NOT DRAIN, ONLY ONE LIGHT BULB IN MASTER BATH-YOU KNOW THEY HAVE TO TURN ON LIGHTS TO CLEAN. WE RAN OUT OF HOT WATER, MAYBE NEED LARGER UNIT. IF ONLY 6 USED WATER, IT WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO ACCOMADATE 14. BUT OVERALL A VERY VERY NICE PROPERTY!!!

This house is beautiful and is large enough to easily house an entire party of 12. Rent in Highlands was very communicative with us. I would highly recommend this property.

Mountain House

This property is a really cute little house right close to town. It's very large, 3 levels in all, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of eating and hanging out space. The home is older, so it's a quaint feel. The home has TONS of DVDs, outdoor play space, inside and outside games and is a great location for a large group. In the winter, I could see where it could be challenging to get up the driveway if there was any ice on the roads. In the summer, you will need to bring fans with you, as the upstairs bedrooms are uncomfortably warm. Even with the outdoor temps in the mid 60s in the overnight and early morning, the home can feel very humid. I think with small box fans you would be mostly comfortable. We had a great stay, the kitchen is very well stocked with spices, tons of dishes and pots/pans. They could use a knife set, as there aren't many knives. There is a large laundry set, which is very nice.
