Surprise to find a small town nearby

We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo. Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good. Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. A beautiful converted barn in lovely, quiet surroundings away from the madding crowds of Bourton and Stow. Janey was also very quick to respond to any minor queries we had before and during our arrival. Beds very comfortable!
