「Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.」

「Comfortable and quiet mountain cabin with convenient location for our planned activities at Harpers Ferry and Sharpsburg. We would stay there again if in the area. Good communication with the host.Deer in the yard every morning and evening added to a pleasurable experience.」

「This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. We look forward to our next annual trip!」

「The house was very clean upon arrival. We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and playing pool on a kid’s pool table. It was close the Harper’s Ferry. We also saw deer very close both days we were there, and we loved this!!」

「We had my daughters wedding here and it was perfect for the event. Plenty of room for many of the guests to stay and they all enjoyed it very much. There was one small issue and it was handled by staff in a timely and thoughtful manner. Well worth it! 」

「Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. 」

「Overall, we had a great stay! There was plenty to do in the local area, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The game room was a lot of fun—the ping pong table was a big hit for us adults; however, the foosball table would probably be more enjoyable for kids, as it is on the smaller side. 「We had a wonderful stay at Gruner Bungalow! There were 12 of us celebrating our father's 85th birthday. The house was amazing with so many places to sit and enjoy time together and plenty of well appointed bedrooms/bathrooms. The property manager recommended a chef that we had come in which was amazing. The pool and grilling area were awesome. The staff at the winery were so nice. We had a fun wine tasting and enjoyed delicious wine and the beautiful landscape. Highly recommend and would stay...

「Very relaxing getaway.」

「We had a very nice stay. There were a lot of bugs on the floors. Could have used some baking dishes. We left flour in fridge. There needed to have sugar, flour and things that people would need. When we have gone to other B&Bs places they would have things like that for people.Tried to log in on tv to use our account to you tube tv but didn’t have a code for Roku. Better access to the river from the house. People have a hard time going up and down.」
