「We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!」

Sitting in the garden, taking in the mountain view, and listening to the surrounding wildlife was the perfect respite from hectic city life. The two bedrooms were sufficiently apart and next to their own bathrooms so both couples had privacy.the screened in porch was perfect to hang out and play cards at night and my dog absolutely loved the back yard. The location is superb, conviently located central to Stockbridge, ,lenox and Great Barrington. Fifteen minutes to Tanglewood and the Norman Rockwell museums. There are so many hiking trails with fabulous mountain views nearby.」

The home is well equipped: plenty of beds, multiple gathering places, pool with towels (although it was pretty cold until the pool guy came and provided help). 「Communication with host was top notch. The home is beautifully decorated (however probably not young children friendly as furnishings are light and airy, lots of light colors). The pool is wonderful and gets great sun. One caveat, not a good fit if you have mobility issues (I don't, I like the stairs and the exercise! But it would be rough if you have bad knees). I loved the property and I say THANK YOU! Nicely appointed and decorated.」

「We stayed at the Meadow House over Labor Day weekend. Lars was super accommodating to us and made sure we were taken care of. Really quick responses from him and he’s even working with us to return something one of the friends I was with left behind. 「This is my second summer renting this house. It's great. Beautiful home, lots of light, in the woods, very comfortable. Our first year we had a rainy Sunday and it was fun to just hang out in. Very clean. The rental contact person was very responsive to a question we had. Five minutes from Jacob's Pillow. Lenox/Lee/Stockbridge are all just a quick drive away. Very quiet rural setting. A deer visited us this year, early on Sunday morning. Love this place.」
