Little Cottage On The Lake ** 40 steps to beautiful beach

"This was the best weekend. Tom and Cheryl were able to welcome us on very short notice and it was a much needed stroke of luck. Gimli is in my heritage and I was desperate to visit it again. The cottage was very nice and we immediately felt at home. I would love to come back in summer if possible! I'm still amazed how our booking fell in to my lap I'd especially like to thank Tom for his kind words of encouragement"

"The cottage is situated on a park-like lot backing on to the lake. Beach access is possible but depends on wind strength/direction. The interior has a beautifully appointed kitchen and bathroom with several separate spacious areas for relaxing or gathering. The bedrooms are a little tight if you are planning to set up cots for children and I wouldn't recommend the bunk bed for an adult as the mattress is quite thin. We had checked with Susan regarding available toys/DVD's for kids beforehand so brought our own which worked out well. We were a little too late to start a bonfire and sadly neither fireplace was operational so we missed out on enjoying a cozy fire."

"Beautiful property! Love how close it is to the lake. We were able to enjoy the sunset since we are close to the lake. The property itself was nice and spacious. Lots of options for cooking. The only this is that we weren't aware that upstairs bedroom didn't have doors. It was fine for us but would be nice we were told. Overall, beautiful place and would definitely book it again!"
