The owners provided great information about the local area and hikes and had lots of great books about the area. We definitely felt like a local staying here and it was a perfect getaway spot. The bed was super comfortable, the neighborhood very quiet, the location to the lake trail very convenient and the laundry right in the apt was so helpful. 「This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.).
