What a great condo to enjoy Hilo! Fresh, beautiful décorations, quiet and near a lot of bars ans restos! Quick note : the office entrance, elevators and corridors need to have an upgraded look.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time and happened to see the volcano active during our stay! Everything is fresh and new here and a perfect place to land after busy days out exploring. Of note, beach toys or chairs aren’t supplied but the condo itself is lovely and inviting and the lagoon parks are stunning. Mahalo for sharing this beautiful place with us!

Nice apartment in a old dated building

The apartment was great for two couples - the area is surrounded by large roads so we drove everywhere especially at night- little town of Hilo is hip and old but has great restaurants- folks who are unhoused are on the street in front of the restaurants- it’s a great spot for drives to volcano national park, snorkeling etc- great area- not touristy

Unit is beautiful. Building and hallways could use updating but who cares. Great central location in Hilo town. Would be nice if the building hallways would have signage to the laundry room and trash chute from the elevator. Also a water filtration pitcher or vessel would be appreciated as tap water isn’t good. Would stay again

Convenient and Clean

The place was newly remodeled and very clean. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. Building itself is old with dark hallways. But the unit itself was very well lit, spacious and comfortable. We were in town for a few days and the location was central to everything in Hilo. I would stay here again.

Great place with a wonderful view!

The view is amazing! Very clean and bright. Beds were comfortable. One small accent chair would provide comfortable seating for a fourth person in the living area. Otherwise someone sits on a kitchen chair. The kitchen is set up nicely. A pocket door, swinging doors, etc. would give privacy to the one bathroom. We had a great stay. Mahalo

Comfortable condo in Hilo

This is a great 2BD 2BA condo to enjoy your time in Hilo. The two bedrooms are large and roomy. There's modern furnishings throughout, and beach equipment in the closet. The kitchen is well-equipped. The location is close to many cafes and restaurants. Despite being near the airport, noise is not an issue. The only negative was that our entry into the condo was delayed because we weren't given correct access code information by the property management company. Also, as others have mentioned, 2 tiny bars of soap are provided, which seems unnecessarily stingy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect location

Perfect location for this property, the check in was flawless and the management company was amazing at addressing a minor issue we had and was sorted the same day. The apartment overall was so clean, tidy, fresh and the decor was calming and modern, it was totally refurbished. Only downside was they forgot to refurbish one bathroom, plastic insert and very, very old taps, plug etc, we could not use it as I believe it was not meant for people over 5’5’. The view over the lagoon was awesome and the frogs sing you to sleep at night.

Great view and updated condo

The condo is very nice with beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable. Everything is clean and new in the apartment. The building is a very old and big apartment and office building. The security guard is not friendly. There are two luggage racks that you can use to bring your own suitcases upstairs. The pool is surrounded by black asphault. It is not walkable to much. But the inside of the place was very very nice.

Overlooks a serene park with a river flowing through it. Bedrooms are unusually spacious, and the views from the three lanais include an ocean one. The sunrises and the moonrises are special here. Covered parking too! The Salt Water crew was very responsive, and the unit was immaculate.

Large, clean spacious bedrooms with a nice modern feel and well thought-out appliances fixtures. The AC in one of the bedrooms was broken and made a clicking sound but it seems like that will be fixed soon. They brought over a floor fan to compensate. One big downside was single-ply toilet paper. Huh? Other than those 2 things, a great stay with helpful and responsive hosts.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, this is the cleanest condo I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. Not that I'm proud of this, but believe me when I say, you could eat off the baseboards! Then there are THE VIEWS. Glistening blue skies reflected in the lagoons with flowering trees and lawns spread out below and the ocean in the near distance. I LOVED having morning coffee sitting on the balcony and there are 3 balconies so I didn't disturb anyone else. The kitchen is stocked for cooking and had all the basic appliances - even a rice cooker. We only used the condo pool once and it was refreshing. We were the only people there on a weekday. Walking in Hilo is easy and there are so many great restaurants! Our favorites are Mom's (sushi and noodles) and the Poke Market (fresh poke bowls to go). Also Just Cruising coffee shop is right next to the condo building and served GREAT local coffee and breakfast food. We come to Hilo often and cannot wait to stay at this condo again. THANK YOU!

Lovely Condo with Beautiful View, Some Minor Issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This clean 2-bedroom condo is in a great location with easy access to Hilo and area attractions. The main building has businesses on the first 2 floors, and condos above. The long hallways are quite stark, dark and somewhat musty smelling. However the condo itself was bright and airy, and the lagoon view from large windows and 3 balconies is amazing. Condo decor is attractive, comfortable and mostly updated (one bathroom's tub/shower enclosure could use replacing). The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. AC and wifi worked well. The coin operated laundry is just steps away down the hall, and the allocated parking spot is under cover. Access to the room was with a keypad, so no "checkin" or "checkout" was needed. A helpful folder of information was provided in the unit. One issue we had was with parking, as we had 2 rental cars between the two couples, and there is only one allocated parking space. Fortunately the building security person gave us a temporary parking pass to use one of the "one hour only" spots. A few things would have made the stay even better: provide more toilet paper (only 2 rolls were in each bathroom and we stayed 9 days, so we had to purchase more), we had to buy bath soap as the tiny bars provided distintigrated quickly (shower gel dispensers would have been nice and more environmentally friendly), there were no extra kitchen garbage bags so we had to purchase some, luggage racks were not provided in the bedrooms, there was no kleenex and there were limited plugins. One of the bathrooms has no door in front of the sink and 's open to the main living area so there's no privacy for the couple using the attached bedroom. The kitchen space is cramped and there is no dishwasher. Despite these few negatives, the positives were the location, unit space, beds, decor and especially the view. For the price, it was a good stay.
