Golf vacation

The house had plenty of space and bedrooms to accommodate our golf party. It is centrally located to many of the best courses in Hilton Head. It is also close to the beach and easy pedestrian access.

Beautiful home and great location.

I loved the proximity to the Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Club. I loved the proximity to the beach, both were an easy bike ride. The house was so clean. There were a few things broken ( minor) and a few spots on the carpet. The pool and hot tub were wonderful.

Great home; not the greatest rental experience

Home was great, but check in instructions didn’t say anything about having to obtain a pass at office located miles away. Instructions only mentioned code to access home. Also, hot tub wasn’t hot when we got there and we had to have rental company come out heat on — lost more than a day of hot tub use. When you advertise a hot tub as an amenity, the heat should come on right away upon arrival. House itself was great. Exactly what we needed.

The house was spacious, clean and well stocked kitchen. Pool was nice and a short walk to beach. We were able to park 4 cars in driveway and garage, but very tight fit. Would stay again if every came back to South Carolina

Family Time

We (8 adults and 6 kids) enjoyed our time at Flagg 2. The kids enjoyed the pool. We love the bike paths and the proximity to the beach. The house set up was perfect for us with 4 king bed and a bunk room! We wish the AC could be controlled in each room.

A Beautiful Home

2 Flagg will not disappoint and we would definitely stay there again . This is a beautifully decorated home that’s just a short walk from the beach . The kitchen is big and has every appliance , and all the things that you need for a large group . Each bedroom was big and had the perfect closet . Our children loved their bunk room and also gave them an extra place to play . The pool area had 6 nice lounge chairs and we enjoyed eating at the outside table several nights after grilling our dinner .If you need a 5 bedroom rental I would highly recommend 2 Flagg Serene Retreat . It’s a wonderful home !

Girls weekend

12 friends rented this house for a girls 50th birthday weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The house was just lovely and so well appointed. It was also incredibly well located- 5 min walk to the beach and just a little more to tennis, the general store and more. I’ve been renting houses in Palmetto Dunes for 2 decades and this was one of the nicer ones. I would definitely rent again

Great house beautiful big rooms

The house was beautiful and great! Beach access was a bit of a haul. It took a while to get the property managers to figure out how to turn on the hot tub. It’s all remote done by the management company. House has a lot of privacy. Neighborhood was great. Driveway had plenty of space.

Nice house. Great Times.

We loved the fact that you can use the buggy service to go to pool. That was very helpful with our little one. They never picked up the etrash and we did have to call a few days to get it taken away. I would suggest mopping the floors better. The fridge handle was broke and needs repaired. We did get many bites sitting by the pool, so many trees, but not owners fault. Our biggest complaint is the air conditioner will not keep up with the house. The thermostats are locked at 68, but upstairs never got to 68 it would only go to 70. It was a little hot at night. they do have extra fans in most rooms so I think this issue has been mentioned before. The property is beautiful just needs a few little repairs.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful spacious home, comfortable and well stocked in every way. Close to the beach. Dealing through Vacasa was a little bit difficult. There was a lack of communication with local rental office and no local numbers to call for help. We had a problem getting our gate passes and the pool company had not been contacted that renters were there.

Good house, poor property management

Overall: Location is very good. In the heart of palmetto dunes, 5 mins to beach. Owners are probably first time renters and have done a good job furnishing the house and kitchen and garage with most things you would need for a vacation like this. The downside: VACASA is HORRIBLE. We had an extremely poor experience during booking regarding pool heat - a long story to write up here - but suffice to say dealing with VACASA is terrible. Check in process - know that once you arrive there, you cannot go straight to the property. You have to go to the Vacasa office to get parking passes to enter palmetto dunes. And that office is not always staffed. We were lucky there were some others there who knew what to do - VACASA did not let us know this small little detail. With traffic that is a 40 minute round trip to go get parking passes and welcome package. Microwave was not working. Despite complaints, it was not fixed during our 4 day stay. With this experience, I would recommend the house, but beware of this property management firm. They are bad.

Being together was great - house not so much

The house was beautiful, and the bedroom layout worked great for our family. However, we encountered several frustrating issues. For the price we paid, we expected much better. It seemed like the house may have been unoccupied for a while. Pool/Outside - The instructions for using the app to control the hot tub were very confusing. We had to contact the host to turn it on, and it took awhile to figure out how to heat the hot tub. The pool was dirty with sand on the bottom and the water level was low. It took several days to get it attended to and still was not cleaned as it should be. Pool toys were left scattered around the pool. The outside pool area did not appear to have been cleaned. The porch area looked unclean, and the porch furniture could use updating to provide more comfortable and cleaner seating. Kitchen - The lower oven did not work, and it took a couple of days to get someone to fix it. The freezer handle was missing. The dishes in the cabinets looked dirty. The kitchen floor was sandy and dirty. Bedrooms - We found contacts, Q-tips on floor and men's clothing in drawer. The sheets had hair and sand on them. We called and were told housekeeping would come. They did show up but only handed off new sheets. The master bedroom floor was sandy and dirty. Overall, while the house itself was beautiful and conveniently located, dealing with so many issues right at the start of our long-awaited family vacation was very disappointing.
