Fantastic location

We loved the location and pool!!! Bedrooms and bathrooms have been renovated, but kitchen needs it too. The dryer didn’t work well and there were not enough kitchen supplies to cook dinner. Loved it, though and would rent again. Location, location, location!

Family vacation

The house is great, large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms (2huge bathrooms) Short walk to beach is paved but remember to bring your own beach towels. Plenty of bath towels. Nice pool. Overall a great experience for our family (adults and kids) any issues we had were promptly addressed by management company. Would rent again,

Great Location and lots of future potential

The location was great! Super quick walk to the beach, pickle ball & salty dog! And the house has the potential to be fabulous as it’s pretty, gets lots of light and has nice new upgrades. Our mixed rating comes into play with how our expectations were managed and the communication process. First - the house felt like the construction trucks pulled away the day before we arrived. Air vents around the house plus household items (ie coffee makers) were covered in dust. Also - some cleaning details were missed ieTobacco chew left on the porch. The house felt like it had been vacant for a while. Our biggest frustration came with the pool heat and communication with Vacasa or perhaps technology challenges with Vacasa through the VRBO app. We’ve traveled to HHi this time of year and know how chilly it can be. So we passed on renting a house that had better reviews as it said the pool could not be heated and rented this house instead. We reached out to Vacasa weeks out via VRBO messaging to confirm pool heat and heard back a few days before our trip. We assumed this was all set but showed up to a freezing cold pool. While the Vacasa office in HHi tried to be helpful, they seemed more focused on how much to charge us for the pool heating. The property manager was understanding & responsive but despite visits from the pool company we never had a warm pool. So the house and the Vacasa communication has room for improvement but a nice little street and very walkable location.

Great house for our group

This house checked all the boxes for us: close easy walk to the beach, pool, enough beds, grill, dog friendly, in Sea Pines, Sea Pines car passes. Our family likes to cook instead of going out to eat and the kitchen was not as well stocked as we assumed. Fortunately we brought many items from home. Also, the home is a little warn; however, our group didn't care.

Furniture is all brand new and comfortable. It has the largest kitchen in a rental house I have ever stayed in. The beach was across the street which made it easy for quick snack, cooler refills and bathroom runs. I don't know why I would ever stay anywhere else.
