As described

This space is exactly as described. Extremely convenient to be able to walk out the back door to the pool/beach instead of walking around the building. Since it is right by the pool, you do hear people out there, but there was a fan in the bedroom that acted as a noise machine that drowned out the people. Would stay here again.

Amazing Spring Break

Our stay was amazing. Condo has an awesome location and with being first floor you could still see the ocean from the deck. Very clean and everything we needed. Communication with owner was great. The master shower had amazing water pressure which is a huge plus when on a beach vacay! Definitely recommend!!

The condo was great. This is our second time staying at Captains Walk and we loved it both times. Wonderful location and close to the beach. Perfect for a family trip!

Back Again - Wonderful Trip!

We've stayed in this unit 4 times and love the location and accessibility. The property manager is very responsive and the unit has everything we need. Can't wait to come back again!

HHI Paradise

We have stayed in many properties on HHI, but Captains Walk is one of the best locations. The closeness to the pool and beach is one of many reasons. We will return to this property next year.

First Floor Unit with easy access to everything!

A favorite

We love this place, mainly because of the location to the pool and the beach. But this last time we came during a hurricane and Jan was quick to reach out and try to find ways to make it more enjoyable for us. Love the ease of a pack and play and games as well! We’ll be back :)

Wonderful unit and easy access to ocean

This condo is very charming and comfortable. We had to reach the manager once so my granddaughter could gain access to the unit the this happened with ease. We all agreed we would be happy to return.

Perfect property

This property was perfect for our family. We had enough room and space to make it feel more like a home. The location was incredible as well. It is steps from the pool and a very close to the beach entrance. We will definitely search this location when we come back to the beautiful Hilton Head Island.

Perfect place for the perfect vacation!

This is the place to stay in Palmetto Dunes. Beautifully decorated, a very clean and well-furnished condo in a great location with fabulous views and direct access to a heated pool and beach. Great golf courses, restaurants, a general store and tennis & pickleball courts are all within the Palmetto Dunes complex and are very close to condo. Jan was an amazing host, quick to respond to my questions and made sure our stay went well. Her recommendations for restaurants were excellent! Highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Back and better than ever!

My family of 5 (kids are 3 months, 6 years, 8 years) were happy to be back in unit 430 in early May 2022. Jan is simply the best hostess and everything was perfect. The unit is updated and well appointed. The convenience can't be beat. We can't wait to go back!

Great location for a family with young kids!

This was our first year not staying at a resort, and I’m so glad we made the switch! This unit had great accessibility to the pool and the beach, and had everything we needed! Communication with the property manager, Jan, was excellent! The unit was clean, and well stocked with towels, kitchen essentials, etc, and had plenty of space. We had a great stay, and we are hoping to come back to the same unit next year!

Jan is the best. We had a few issues with some appliances because we rented at the end of a very busy summer. Jan got everything fixed for us and was extremely accommodating. We’ll be back for sure!

Captains walk dream!

We always try to stay at captains walk each time we visit HHI. This year. Unit 430 has tipped the scale. This is the nicest condo we have stayed in, the manager is wonderful with great communication. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother vacation rental process.

430 Captains Walk

The condo was generally clean, but the kitchen and hall floors could have been better mopped. It was well stocked with dishes, cookware, glasses, towels, supplies etc. We even had the use of beach towels and beach chairs. The washer, dryer and the refrigerator were relatively new and clean. The property manager was very attentive and easily available for questions or problems.

Nice older unit with great views and super proximity to the buildings amenities. My wife appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked. Our stay was cut short by COVID-19 so not much more to say. Owner promptly returned deposit. I think we missed out on further enjoying the property. Would consider again.

very clean and great location

This was our first time to HHI with 2 young children. We loved the location, the cleanliness, and up to date decor. The condo was just steps from the pool and a very short walk to the beach. Great location to everything on the island. The kitchen was adequately equipped and the condo was supplied well with starters of paper products, travel size soaps, shampoo, dish soap, dishwasher fluid, Tide, conditioner & lotion. The dishwasher is quite loud, but does the job. I wouldn't run it at night if your a light sleeper : )

Fun at Hilton Head

My husband and I along with friends, stayed a week at this condo. Wonderful that it was on first floor looking over pool. Easy access to the beach. Location of condo is wonderful and convenient to everything HH has to offer. Condo was comfortable and clean but could use some updating in kitchen and bathrooms. There were a couple of slats on the plantation shutters that are brook and need to be fixed. Jan was easy to work with and responded to any inquiries promptly. However, all in all, I would stay there again.

Fall Break/Birthday Getaway

My wife and oldest daughter have October birthdays this week and it was the perfect spot to celebrate. Jan was a great and accommodating host and quick to respond to any questions. Accurate description to the location. We loved the quick walk to the pool where we could watch our oldest from the patio. The beach was just around the corner and was never crowded. There were a few amenities we didn’t expect that maybe were left behind but they were helpful. A couple of beach chairs and a cooler. We had a date night while my mom watched the kids with a quick walk to Alexander’s which was the best meal we had on our trip. We rented bikes from Hilton Head Outfitters which is also a short walk from the property. I highly recommend Jan’s property and hope to stay here again.

Five years straight, several more God willing

This location has provided such joy to my family five years in a row and god willing will stay here several more in future. The location as advertised doesn’t say enough. Not only is it convenient to pool and beach, it’s centrally located to Hilton head. The owner is very concerned with her guests having a stress free vacation with her communication. I had a minor situation with the shower head on first day. Her representative had it resolved the very next morning. Just aren’t enough superlative comments can be said about this location. Thank You JAN!!!

We enjoyed the stay, all the appliances worked well. All had a great week.

The condo was just fine, we all enjoyed the layout and ease of getting to the pool and beach. The property manager did a great job, when we arrived the unit was not well cleaned and she quickly got another very nice person to come back and clean the unit as it should have been. I really appreciated her keeping track of how we were doing. The custodian that came was not the person who cleaned the unit. She had an excellent attitude and did a great job checking with us that all was ok. That was very impressive in this day and time. thanks for a great week
