The spacious open-plan layout is highlighted by a large fireplace in the living room, creating a cosy atmosphere for those cooler evenings. Enjoy the expansive outdoor space including 6m x 3m plunge pool, ideal for cooling down in the Hunter Valley Summer and relaxing with family and friends.
Guests can enjoy a fully equipped industrial kitchen, cosy dining areas, and multiple lounge areas for ultimate comfort. Including air conditioning and heating, the barn features 8 bedrooms, each designed for rest, relaxation and privacy.
Vintage Steel's 120 year history brings together the best of modern living and is only further enhanced with the fabulous vintage and artisan stores that surround Hinton and Morpeth which offer great coffee and dining by the river. Located only 30 minutes to Newcastle beaches, and CBD, 25 minutes to Newcastle airport, 40 minutes to the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country, and approximately 15 minutes to Green Hills shopping centre. You have everything the Lower Hunter has to offer, right on the doorstep of this one-of-a-kind home.

Travelling for a Wedding?
Vintage Steel services many guests from some of the lower Hunter's premium wedding venues such as Wallalong house, Tocal Homestead, Albion Farm & Gardens, Hinton Pub and Anambah House. Taxi's and mini bus hire are available in the local area.
Local Favourites:
Boydell’s in Morpeth is a gorgeous cafe/restaurant /tapas/cellar door situated in a renovated original 1800’s timber house with incredible exposed wooden ceilings. One of my faves for sure.
The Victoria Pub, a short stroll down the road has outside eating on the river so is great for children the view is gorgeous,
The Commercial Hotel in Morpeth has really great food and country charm.
Common Grounds in Morpeth has the best coffee.
Ometto Pizza bar in Maitland (10 minute drive) has incredible Italian woodier Pizzas.

Fratelli Roma in Maitland is great Italian and all their pasta is home made on the premises.
Beautiful Country side all around the property for walking, bike riding, running and fishing.
My tips:
A 4 day getaway for me while staying at Vintage Steel would be:
Day 1, explore the local village of Morpeth and relax at the property enjoying the pool and fire with dinner at the local Hinton pub.
Day 2, head on a day trip to the Hunter Valley wine region, approximately a 35-40 minute drive away.
Day 3, explore the magical beaches of Port Stephens, an easy 40-minute drive.
Day 4, enjoy the local cafes, restaurants and markets with a spot of fishing or jetty jumping into the river.
