This property has the wow factor! It is absolutely amazing and should be not missed if you’re in Iceland. The property owner was incredibly kind, accommodating, and very helpful. You will be very sorry if you miss out on staying here. I will give it five stars and then some.

The owners were amazing and friendly. Our little cabin was super clean. Breakfasts were delicious. Would definitely have loved a television in our cabin, would have been nice to relax with a movie after a long day of sightseeing.

Meine persönliche Lieblingsunterkunft in Island. Phänomenale Lage, Supermarkt und Restaurants im nahegelegenen Ort Höfn. Die Besitzerin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück besteht aus selbst gemachten und regional hergestellten Speisen. Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet.

The Inn Keepers of this property are amazing! They are personable and keep their guest houses clean; their breakfast spread is a nice cultural experience; and they took the time to explain Road.IS and how the app works in an effort to protect our safety. I highly recommend this property!

Absolute favorite stay of the trip! Loved the location and the room concept! Room was clean and cozy. Great place for northern lights! Hosts were so nice! Great breakfast- skyr prepared with the owner's mother's recipe, local smoked salmon, local lamb, homemade jams and hummus- Delicious! I wish I could have more of it!

We absolutely loved this property! The isolated cabins with the privacy wall around the entrance was appreciated. While we stayed, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights. Staff took the time to come around and knock on our doors to let us know! Although we already we outside when she came around, we’d set up our camera and we looking in the wrong direction. Really appreciate her coming around to make sure we saw it if we wanted to. Breakfast was included and was a great way to start the day. Clubhouse stays open late if you’d like a hot drink before bed. Staff were nothing but friendly and helpful.

Good stay. Staff was very nice. We wish there was electric kettle in the room to make tea at night. Coffee machine at the dining area was a bit far to walk at night in the cold and rain. BF was good.

It is really special! Like traveling back in time. It would have been useful to know in advance that there is no possibility to take a shower and to come with your phone charged. We had dinner which was plenty and excellent. Especially with kids this is a must!!!! They can even help to feed the sheeps. Thank you!

Incredible scenery on the dry rocky plains outside of Hofn. These newly, purpose built cabins are exquisite. The breakfast offered was first class & above. Lovely people who own/run this guesthouse

Pleasant ring road stop

The room was immaculate, and created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere which was a wonderful balance to the rainy day. In the morning the breakfast was true Icelandic staple from smoked fish to homemade jam and skyr, great tasting coffee . The host was very attentive making sure that we have all we need and her presence was great complement to the wonderful breakfast.

The guesthouses are beautiful and quite spacious. Good black out blinds and comfy beds. It was a nice treat to have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel from an Icelandic company. Breakfast was SO GOOD. My favourite was the skyr, and my partner loved the tuna salad. The wifi in the guesthouses was down at the time of our visit, but was working in the lounge/common area. It wasn’t a major issue for us because I had data on my phone, and we were just exhausted, but for the price I would have expected a price reduction or a “gift” to make up for the lack of wifi.

Dies war die tollste Unterkunft von insgesamt 4. Die Häuschen sind wunderbar eingerichtet, sehr geräumig und haben eine traumhafte Aussicht in die Natur. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett und das Frühstück (das meiste homemade) total lecker. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort, kommen aber auf jeden Fall wieder.

Superb!!!
Beautiful, clean, comfortably sized, quiet guest houses. Hosts were very accommodating and gave good information regarding things to do. Location was great for our travel plans. Would recommend a shower curtain or enclosed shower stall (hard to find anywhere in Iceland!!), and a fan for the sleeping area. Light-blocking curtains (necessary!) made the room warm for sleeping. Opening the window was problematic because of the never-ending daylight.

We stayed here in March 2023. Check in was easy and the owner was very nice. She accommodated our early schedule and had the breakfast prepared for us. The breakfast was excellent and the homemade skyr was my favorite! The area is very beautiful and quiet. Snowy landscape and mountains surround it. The northern lights even showed up for a little bit! Very beautiful.
