Loved the location, friendly staff and the restaurant was great. Especially liked. The helpful and friendly attitude of the staff member when we had breakfast. As we’re traveling the South island we chose the cheapest room which was definitely value for money. Clean and had everything we needed. Even though it was roadside it didn’t seem noisey. I feel we should have paid for a Seaview room though and we would have enjoyed the stay more.

We got ocean view room and it was spectacular to watch the waves as weather was a bit blustery. Perfect location, situated close to everything. New World just across the road. I just found it hard to understand lady at reception when checking in as she had a very strong accent, but she was very pleasant. Shower was great, and had a spa bath if you needed. They had usb and USB-c charging ports which made life easy. Restaurant on site with good extensive menu. Enjoyed the one night stay... slept well.

There was nothing we did not like....we stayed oin a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite. Perfect and the view was amazing....top marks to all staff....the food ...the bar.....in the middle of town and right on the edge of the Tasman Sea.....5 stars !!!!!!!
