「Hotel staff are nice, friendly and helpful, had a good time chatting with them in Grandpapa. The breakfasts in grandpapa were really nice, better than what I expected. 」

「The hotel is above a little restaurant. Meals are not included, but they are very good traditional Japanese food. The place is literally right behind the Biei train station, which is an ideal location for pretty much everything. The owners didn't speak too much English, but I was able to make due with my limited Japanese. The AC in the room was weak, but being Hokkaido all I had to do was open the window with the screen and my room was perfect.」
