You actually made 2 reservations (1 on 4/4/24 and the other on 4/9/24) --To blame us for your own mistake with an online reservation is very unfair---as for your other issues all our fish is delivered fresh daily (no other guests complaints) and after checking on the showers we found no issue with the temp or pressure--We are sorry that you were displeased wiith your very competively priced King Suite

We are a 200+ year old Inn so we appreciate you being so observant --You were also given a complimentary upgrade from the Economy room that you booked so you actually were given more than you expected

Almost all the rooms are set back from the road—the building itself is at least 200ft from the road

I would take your review seriously if there weren’t so many inaccuracies —it is a Queen bed not “full-size “ the TV’s have all been replaced in the last 4 years—the carpeting was replaced within the last year—We just installed electric fireplaces instead of propane for safety purposes and the breakfast is a “continental” (fresh fruit-yogurt-cereal (4 choices) coffee cake granola bars - juices - coffee and breakfast sandwiches(do need to be heated )We did have a wedding from 4-9pm

We always are willing to help anyone with their luggage--It is a 200+ year old building and unfortunately don't have any elevator access.--We always try to fix any maintenance issues if we are made aware of.----All the Propane fireplace are turned off during the summer/early fall season

We value all our guests—we serve a complimentary continental breakfast which is clearly stated in all property descriptions Our property is very competitively priced for the area

While we are always open to constructive criticism to make our establishment better, none of this information is accurate. We accidentally gave you a key to the wrong room (one that was not ready yet) which we quickly rectified. The new key to your clean and ready room was handed over in a total of three minutes. In regards to breakfast, we provide continental breakfast, not a full service meal. This is advertised on all websites and is thoroughly explained upon check-in. There are clearly signs that ask for dishes to be cleared and states "obviously not mandatory." Our front desk monitors the breakfast and is always available to help. If you needed anything at all, they would have been at your service. This is not a struggling mom and pop operation by any means. This is a historical establishment where our family has put substantial dollars into updates, making it a wonderful, beautiful and enjoyable place for visitors all over the world. Should you have felt any negativity throughout your stay, we would have greatly appreciated you come to us at any point. These false claims are hurtful and greatly impacts a business to an effect you would not understand.
