We were in Michigan for a special event. Like all places, rates go up significantly for big events. I found this motel. It looked nice and was value priced. It was nice. It was really clean, the location was great for our needs. It was the beginning of the season so were very few people in Douglas. We really enjoyed the area. The beds were comfy. My only complaint was no maid service. I did not expect any but for 3 nights it would have been nice to have the trash taken out. The rooms were cute. Steve was very accommodating. A good place to stay.

No breakfast as advertised on Expedia. Coffee only and starts at 9 a.m. Need it earlier than that. Also, no internet and TV might have been affected by it. Only one channel available. Otherwise, it is a very cute and clean property. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. Close to everything, a pleasant walk to Saugatuck. We would stay again. Maybe a commercial prewrapped muffin placed in the room as a breakfast offering. Coffee service at 8?
