「We had a wonderful stay at the Creek Cabin! It’s clean, quiet and walking distance to downtown. The backyard is peaceful looking out to the creek and listening to the birds sing. 「The room was extremely clean. The bed is comfortable. We didn't cook in the room because we were only there 2 nights. We did notice the skillet needs scrubbing. We would suggest having a small table with 2 chairs instead of the desk with 1 chair. We didn't use the TV. We don't have streaming apps. Suggest having a few local channels for news and weather. The washer and dryer are a big plus. They are noisy and may need some maintenance. The belts are squealing.」

「There were a lot of good things about this place.However, I gave it 4 stars b/c it was very minimally stocked. There was one butter knife. I couldn’t even cut up my apple. No cookie sheet to use the oven. The coffee maker was very cheap/flimsy and I would have had to get specific types of coffee pods and filters. I’m not doing a lot of cooking, but it was hard to even just get by. There was no light in the bedroom that I could figure out how to turn on. Bathroom mirror was very dirty, foggy...

「We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Scurlock Farm, The Palette Pad is perfect for one couple. Very comfortable and peaceful. Sheron delivered delicious, hot, homemade blueberry muffins at 9:00 our first morning there. The location is very convenient to Georgetown, but far enough away to be quiet and very relaxed. An easy walk down to San Gabriel River if you want to fish or explore. Highly recommend.」
