Dog Friendly - Beach Bungalow- Locally owned/operated. Inspected at each turnover. Three bedroom charmer set between two access points. Ocean views. Gas grill, outdoor seating, sand chairs and more. Half a block to beach access. Check-out time is 9:30am. Thermostats are locked at 72 degrees to ensure units are not overloaded in the summer.
Dogs: There is a a non-refundable $100 pet fee (2 dog max). A large crate can be provided if requested at the time of reservation.
Any dog found in or around a dog friendly property, that has not paid the pet fee, is a ground for expedited tenant eviction, forfeiture of all monies paid, and a non-declared pet fee of DOUBLE the normal pet free per pet, at the sole discretion of property owner.

Host, Michelle was amazing. I had so many questions after arriving and she was efficient, quick to respond and answered every request. The stairs were a little difficult for me, but the property was in good condition. Everything was clean and all needs met. I will be telling friends who like to stay in the area about this property. Everything about our stay was perfect. It was such a treat to be able to bring our dogs with us. This is a great location with a beautiful ocean view that makes you feel like you’re at the beach even when you’re inside. The queen beds are very comfortable and the window treatments are really nice for letting in or blocking light depending on what you want. The kitchen is small, with small appliances, but it was well stocked and met our needs. The property manager was so helpful and responsive too. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the best week staying at the Posh Pelican! Michelle is a wonderful owner who was available any time we needed her! She checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything; brought us an extra wagon to use, a new shibumi, & a little surprise for our son! The house was super clean & had everything we needed. We will always recommend her & her properties & can't wait to stay again!

Repeat Rental
Repeat renter and I’m telling you, don’t scroll past this place! (but please don’t book it for the weeks I want it ). It took me few years of experimenting with different locations and rental agencies, then I found this place. Love it. Perfect location, close enough to wherever you want to go, far enough away to be a truly peaceful little neighborhood. Clean, plenty of amenities, well appointed and comes with a highly responsive owner (not that I’ve ever needed anything).

Will stay here again!
This place is wonderful with a great view and numerous amenities. Really enjoyed the weekend and the quiet rest after a beautiful day at the beach, which is easily accessible. Owner is easy to reach and extremely helpful. Lovely stay!

Perfect spot!
Michelle always has well-appointed properties and responds very quickly to any matter. Beach has easy access and the fenced back yard full of sand is the best for both kiddos and dogs!

Excellent as always
Fenced In is located on the second row of houses at the beach. As always, it was clean and ready for us. Michelle is a gracious host and acted quickly on a few cropped-up issues out of her control. The cottage feels like a home away from home for us.

Beautiful Beach House
This house is adorable. Sooo clean and so well decorated. You can see the ocean from the living room! Michelle is an absolute sweetheart and there for anything you might need. We would definitely stay there again!

Great getaway
House was what we expected. Very clean, and Michelle thinks of everything! It was a last minute trip and so glad we went with this. We normally stay in the Outer Banks, but had a family emergency. So, by far the best host experience we have had with our trips. Can’t say enough about Michelle and her son. We will definitely be back!

No Hidden Explanations
After spending many years at an ocean front house we were not sure we would like being a row back.However, the location worked well for us.The only thing we missed was the sunrise from the deck. Because of the time of year the position of the sunrise was in front of the house in front of us. However, we could easily walk to the beach and see the sunrise. The house was very welcoming and Michelle was a great host. She checked with us to make
sure we had what we needed and to be sure there were not issues. I am "old school" so I loved the clothesline complete with clothespins! We were a family of 4 and we had some friends stop by for a few days. Everyone agreed that this is a great place to stay.
