「We had a wonderful week here as a family of four plus one dog! The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. We walked to Park Circle Park twice and it was an easy walk—highly recommend for families with children!! The house was perfect for what we needed for the week, we found it exactly as listed. 「The location is good. But, this property is in need of some major TLC - the most egregious examples are the broken front bedroom window which is partially covered by cardboard and duct tape and the peeling exterior paint. Southern charm in this case means run down. Several properties in the neighborhood have been renovated/updated and the owners of this property should follow suite so it's not the most unsightly house on the block. 「Great location and perfect size for a weekend getaway! It is a beautiful and historical home but we do wish there was a small disclaimer about how noisy it is when someone is staying in the space above. You can hear every step and even conversations from the people above. We would have brought ear plugs if we would’ve known. There was also some dried blood stains in the bathroom when we arrived (I have pictures if needed). we aren’t fussy so cleaned it up but wasn’t as clean as we hoped. Really...
