We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The studio had all we needed including beach and snorkel items which we did not use. The pool and hot tub were nice as were the views from both our balcony and the roof. My only issue was the location of the a/c unit which was pointed at the head of the bed which made it hard to sleep at night. Communication with the owner was good, especially when the Pacific Monarch maintenance crew barged into the unit on our last morning as I was taking a shower. They insisted on replacing the door lock apparatus which left a gaping hole in the door which was propped open to the hallway with a tool box. Sawdust covered the floor. They could not wait until checkout time at 10:00. We were granted an additional hour to checkout. As to the Pacific Monarch...the elevators can be excruciatingly slow. Also, they charge 15 to store a bag in the lobby, whether it is 15 seconds or several hours. Staff we met in the hallway were pleasant, but the counter staff seemed unconcerned with us because we were "not staying at the hotel." All in all it was a good stay for us and I would stay again.

Very well located (2 corners from the beach), awesome side view of the sea. Also has parking (extra cost, but well priced at 35 per 24 hours) which always had spots available, nice pool and hot tub. Also, close to lots of restaurants. Very clean and well taken care of. Note that AC is not super strong, so close all the blinds during the day and use the cool air in the evening to cool it down. Had beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler available (with 2 ice packs). Overall, awesome experience.

Location! Close to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants. It has on-site parking, great views of the ocean and Diamond Head from the balcony. Bed was comfortable and shower was good size. Unit was clean. Would recommend larger beach towels for adults and two more. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

View is fabulous, everything provided was great, everything was very clean and we appreciated the pillow protectors and mattress protector under the cases. AC in the unit is also wonderful especially because the sun gets hot through the windows during the day. We stayed for a week and have no complaints! Maloha!

Perfect Location in Waikiki

This is a studio apartment, so expect it to be small. However, the windows are floor-to-ceiling and open right up. This fills the room with natural light and makes it feel larger. It’s a perfect size for 2 people. A coffee kiosk (open daily, except Tuesdays) is right outside the building and has amazing coffee. The food trucks in the area are very good, especially the Korean bbq sort ribs. The location couldn’t be better. It’s so close to the beach, restaurants, the International Marketplace (Target is there, where you can get drinks, fruit, etc). We took the 42 bus to Pearl Harbor and the bus stop is directly across the street. The lobby was just painted while we were there and it looks great. We will definitely stay here again.

The apartment is very well located, easy to get in and out traffic wise and 2 blocks from Waikiki beach just great. The apartment is facing the sun all day and it’s very nice, makes ac unit necessary the unit is very noisy and located 2 feet from the bed… bring earplugs. Furniture is basic would need a new mattress.

Our Hawaii Winter Getaway

Location was excellent. We were extremely disappointed that the roof top pool was under repair and that was not disclosed to me. We were given the option to use pool at the next door Bamboo Hotel;however, the pool water was as murky and dirty looking as the Amazon. The inadequate air conditioning unit was so loud and noisy that restful sleep nights were few and far between..Extremely disappointed with kitchen set up.this may have been my oversight but I thought we were getting a full kitchen with limited ability to cook but that was not the case . There was a toaster oven and electric cooktop which was not reachable gir use neither by myself or my partner as we are short people.the auto drip coffee maker would have been appreciated as a 8 cup instead of a tiny 4.5 cup size. The mattress is overdue for a new one .disappointed with setup of the pacific monarch in general that they did not have any coffee facilities abd adding insult to injury , I was charged 31 to have the desk hold my luggage while I ran out to get a cup of coffee & muffin.it was also annoying to be up the rooftop area watching a movie and being rudely asked to leave as they wanted to close it up at 10pm since we were watching a movie and there was no one else in there with us .in fact that happened on 2 separate occasions . And this is why I would not give a 5 star rating ..

Just really wanting to see Pearl Harbor. Location is great, view amazing. Only hiccup was pool was closed for renovation but pool next door was available for use. Owner was very helpful in answering questions.
