Best location and Beautiful Home

This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back. Great location and the house has all the ammenities you need for a comfortable stay. It's close to everything without being disturbed by the party crowds. It is exactly as advertised including the photos.

Daughters wedding

This property allowed me to bring my extended family together to attend my daughters wedding in Hawaii. The open concept of this house allowed us to cook together, spend time relaxing, and for children three and six have time to move around and have fun. Great space!

Wonderful Oahu stay

We had a group of seven fro kids to adults. We enjoyed the location, close to activities in Honolulu without being in the city, as well as close to Hanauma Bay and great beaches on the east side of the Island. Good restaurants close by. Very nice property with great kitchen and comfortable sleeping situation.

Great Property, for Great Vacation

Property was centrally located to everything. Far away enough from the busy city but also a short drive to (in case you wanted to do shopping). Property was perfect and owners had great communication. Hopefully we’ll be able to book again in the future.

Hawai'i Kai/Kuliou'ou Home

Very nice house, fully equipped for all activities. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with air conditioning in every room. Ceiling fans circulated the air in the main living/kitchen areas, and there was plenty of room for all of us. A minor issue with the cable/internet was handled very quickly by the owner, and he made his internet service available to us during the outage. We spoke several times during the visit and he is a wonderful man who cares about his property.

Perfect rental

This was our family’s first trip to Hawaii and this home was perfect. Great location. Close to Honolulu, close to numerous beaches and trails and very clean. We loved all the beach equipment and towels and well stocked kitchen. We have stayed at many VRBOs throughout the country and I would highly recommend this one.

Great family experience

I would definitely stay here again! We were a group of 6 adults. Very convenient location too many of our destinations. We were driving a premium SUV using the parking was definitely doable but a tight squeeze. Just an FYI.

Fantastic family vacation

We had a fantastic stay. The location was incredible - nice jogging location right from the house, short drive to great hikes and beaches, and short trip into Waikiki (although we liked having a place to stay away from that crowded area). Scott was very responsive throughout and the house was perfect - plenty of space for everyone to sleep and spend time together (including den area kids slept in), laundry, etc. It is on the highway and pulling in off the highway takes caution the first time, but this didn’t bother us at all - amazing view of the water from the windows.

Nice vacation

The property was spacious, clean, well stocked and convenient location. It is on a very busy 6 lane highway road that is very loud. However, that is really the only negative aspect. Everything else was outstanding.

Perfect house for our family holiday!

This home was perfect for our family of 6. The living space was comfortable and fun to hang out in. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to work in. The only drawback is the highway noise at times is a little loud, but wasn’t really an issue. The hosts communicate well.

Wonderful stay

We had a great time staying at this property during our time on Oahu. The house was very spacious for our group of four. The fully-equipped kitchen and beach accessories (towels, chairs, etc.) were also appreciated. The location was very convenient and communication with the host was easy. We hope to come back some day!

Hawaiian family vacay

We visited Oahu from Utah for 10 days. Scott's home was a nice place to come hang with our family, cook meals together and enjoy the outside patio. He was professional throughout the process and accommodated our needs.

Great relaxing stay

Nice 3 bedroom plus den. Beautiful view of ocean and mountains in the distance. Well equipped kitchen with two fridges! Biggie board, snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels all supplied on site. Far enough away from hussle and bussle of Waikiki, close enough to stores, restaurants, beaches and parks. This one is worth a return trip to the same house. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Fabulous apartment

Three of us stayed at the apartment, which was very clean, tidy, and with more amenities that we needed! The location is perfect for traveling around the island, and the shops are in close proximity for everything required. A previous poster seemed to find issue with the traffic, which we found not to be an issue. We all slept soundly every night! All in all, a lovely location, a lovely apartment, and we'd happily book it again.

Umbrellas, snorkels,fins,GREAT view, beach footwear, beach chairs, 2 refrigerators, AC, free parking, everything to make cookies, 4 minutes from Costco, and hoses outside to wash the sand off everything.

Prime location

Location of this property is fabulous... close to a bunch of restaurants, beaches, etc. It is on a major highway, but that is definitely advertised. We were willing to overlook the volume for a prime location! The property could use a little bit more upkeep in terms of cleanliness. There was a decent amount of dust on window sills, holes underneath the carpet, and stains on some of the sheets. Kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking needs, and a spacious area for gathering. The main living room could use some lamps as we spent many nights using that space! Owner/manager was super nice and responsive!

Ample kitchen, Road noise, worn interior, fluorescent tube lights, dirty beds, see through curtains

Road noise: road noise is constant 50 decibels inside house, louder at times when cars race on adjacent road, making conversation inside frustrating and sleep difficult. worn interior: photos show color coordinated decor and light filled interior —photos don’t show banged up trim, chipped tiles, small bedrooms, and the rented space is actually the middle of three house levels. fluorescent tube lighting: in dining room/kitchen area… looking at tubes in the bar area :( dirty beds: blood stain on one bedspread and tried to use sleeper sofa but promptly closed it up when saw garbage, photos, wrappers and obvious use but not cleaned. Futon in Zen room is dense and pretty hard. See through/think curtains: makes every room allow sunlight in at sunrise—can’t sleep much past 6am. No blackout curtains, living room curtains barely meet in middle, are see through to watch cars on road in front of house. Bugs & rust: in main bathroom, appeared floor corners not cleaned in a while, same with carpet edges & corners. Main bath faucet dripped upon arrival and the duration. Shared space was nice with family. Two refrigerators was nice, as was coffee maker, blender, oven, and dishwasher. Cooler was great to use on outings. Water pressure excellent in both showers. Neighbor was nice to swap parking spot since the carport parking is boxed in with cement walls on three sides (making parking and backing up difficult). We had a good time, too busy to worry.

Great house for a big family.

I rented this place with my family of 6 and 2 kids. It was the perfect space. I loved the open concept and U-Shaped island. The rooms are a little small, but the rest of the living space makes it worth it. There were also lots of beach equipment you can bring with you! Overall it was a nice experience.
