ATTENTION! Please be advised that the building is currently working on an exterior concrete repair and painting project. During this project, guests can expect noisy work (drilling & hammering) occurring Monday-Friday, from 8am-4:30pm. Safety measures will be in place, but some degree of dust and vibrations are unavoidable depending on the area being worked on. The building pool and sundeck will be closed until late Summer 2026, and for segments of the project, each unit's lanai will be inaccessible, and during the afternoon air conditioners may be turned off to allow paint to cure properly. This project is expected to last 6-12 months. For this inconvenience, our daily rate has already been reduced.
We welcome you to stay with us at the Marine Surf, located in the heart of Waikiki at the Marine Surf, just steps from all restaurants and shopping you can think of. We are in a safe, convenient area, with Waikiki Beach is less than a 10-minute walk. The condo has an assigned parking stall, full kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and shower, furnished with a queen size bed plus a futon. Large dining table is equipped with power source and desk lighting, making it suitable for a work from home area- everything you could need for a comfortable short stay, or long stay!

HOUSEKEEPING To ensure your complete privacy and security, we do not offer housekeeping services during your stay. A professional cleaning of the property is done between each guest, along with stocking of linens, towels, and a starter supply of amenities.
LINENS, TOWELS, & SUPPLIES For each guest, 2 towels, 2 washcloths, and one beach towel are provided. Additionally, the bathroom will be supplied with 2 hand towels and one bathmat, and kitchen supplied with a dish towel. Beds are equipped with sheets and a lightweight blanket. We provide a starter supply kit stocked with: 4 coffee pods for Keurig, 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, trash can liners, salt & pepper, cooking oil, 2 laundry detergent pods, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon and items are not replenished during your stay. We are privately owned units, please do not turn in towels, beach towels, sheets, or any other items to building staff, or leave outside the room.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION From the Honolulu Airport, you can expect the drive to be about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Rent a car from the airport, or catch a taxi or shuttle. Taxi's and shuttles do not need prearranged, exit the airport and follow the signs for taxi and shuttle areas. For car rentals, please be sure vehicle does not exceed height of 6'2”
CHECKIN/OUT Upon booking, you will receive a reservation link to an approved third party platform, Access to this is mandatory and it some cases may require you to upload photo ID for verification. This link will provide detailed step by step instructions for self check in, and checkout, guidebooks for the area, and additional services we may provide. We recommend accessing this information as soon as your booking is made.

Luggage may be stored free of charge at the building front desk.
If you have an early arrival, or late departure, and wish to guarantee room access, we advise you to book this extra time in advance. You may do so by requesting through your provided reservation link after booking your stay, or you may consider making your original reservation for an extra day. Often times, we can not accommodate same day requests for early check in or late checkout, as another guest will be arriving or departing and this extra service needs arranged with our cleaning service ahead of time
DELIVERIES/PACKAGES During your stay you will be able to receive mail/small packages delivered by USPS to a mailbox which you have access to. For packages arriving by FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, or any other service, we highly recommend shipping them to our office for nearby pickup, otherwise you may have to be at the property to personally receive them. Please keep in mind, shipping timeframes to Hawaii vary significantly from mainland and are prone to delays. For food or grocery delivery, you must personally be at the property to receive delivery in or outside the building lobby, they may not be left at the front desk for pickup and they will not have access to building elevator
CANCELLATIONS: Prior to booking, please refer to the outlined cancellation policy. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses.
HOUSE RULES: Please be considerate of all neighboring units and building staff. Quiet hours begin at 9pm and end at 8am. No events or parties allowed No smoking or vaping allowed inside our outside on the lanai

Our goal is to present our guests with modern comforts in a classic 1960s building. We want you to have an amazing stay, and this information ensures you know just what to expect from your experience in Waikiki.
Downtown Waikiki is full of energy, with a lively nightlife that's part of its unique charm and guests can expect to hear city sounds, especially in the evenings. Please consider this aspect of Waikiki's bustling vibe, and if you're sensitive to noise please let us know. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and are happy to provide earplugs
Insects, “pests”, geckos, and anything else of such nature are a valuable part of our ecosystem. Just like any other host, or hotel, we routinely treat for household insects, while it is rare to see such inside, it is always a possibility given our environment. This is especially the case if food, trash, or dirty dishes are left out. Please understand that they are naturally occurring and do not reflect upon the cleanliness of the unit. Unless harmful, or in excess, it does not constitute cause for a refund.
