“This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had!! The unit had a serious cockroach infestation — dozens of cockroaches. At first we noticed them near the kitchen sink, but later found them inside our suitcase and on the walls. This was disgusting and unacceptable. We had to throw away clothes and were worried they had gotten into the coffee maker or food. We never left food out. This was clearly a health and safety issue, not a minor inconvenience. The host refused to provide a full refund and……

“Not a great stay. Could not use the 1 1/2 foot wide lanai, very clever pictures that we could not pick that up. Closet door lights faded then would not work towards the end of week one. TV would not work one night, for no apparent reason. Hotel maintenance guy got it working sort of. I opened the breaker for the TV for 30 secs, inputted proper time and seemed to work Ok after that. “The unit is in the best part of Waikiki - terrific location for beautiful walks (Kapiolani park, Diamond head) and easy access to the bustling parts of Waikiki if that's your thing, Kapahulu restaurants and Kaimuki food. The unit was incredibly well stocked for a studio and was very comfortable. And the Marella folks' communication was top notch. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Perfect location to experience Waikiki for those that don't want to pay big resort fees. The place was clean and we enjoyed cooking most of our own meals. Parking is included, which is fantastic. “Location was great. Within walking distance of most things. Kitchen was equipped well. Room was not clean hair in tub items left by previous person under bed and and sofa. Bed was good. Air conditioning sounded like we were on the tarmac. The checkin process wasn’t smooth are flight was delayed and the instructions were incorrect the door handle has not been reset to my phone number so we had to call Tropical Escapes for help. The person texted us a number which thankfully worked for the door……
