「Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.」

「The hotel was quite booked up, so we had 2 rooms over a 3-day weekend and our baggage was transferred with no fuss or problems. Both rooms were clean, roomy and contained everything we needed, including a much-needed fan as the weather headed for a heatwave! Breakfast was lovely (we had a full English). The staff and the manager, Peter, were very friendly and helpful and made sure we were feeling happy about our stay at all times. A very nice place to stay while we visited one of our sons who...
