"Room and property were both very clean. Front desk staff kept me waiting 15 minutes to check in but was nice when she got to me. Might be helpful to have more than one person on the front desk on such a busy weekend. Hot tub was not actually a hot tub but rather an oversized tub with some jets."

"Pool was nice. A little disappointed that the hot tub and sauna were adult only and required a fee. However, we enjoyed the pool which was quite deep (3m) so parents keep an eye out on your children. The river right beside was the highlight of the hotel. The location was perfect in the city, so a night stroll was the cherry on top during our stay. The view was scenic especially during sunrise and sunset when the water would reflect the coloured stripes of the sky. Also, the breakfast was amazing considering the price of our stay. The breakfast room was spacious, and presented a wide variety of foods. My personal favourite was the blueberry compote, which was the perfect amount of sweetness. I tend to notice that many hotel breakfast items are overly salted, but Rodd Moncton avoids this fate. One note, the economy room was quite small. In the photos, the room looked bigger. But we made it work. Overall, great stay. The staff were very kind and lovely to talk too! Would book again❤️"

"The property was a heritage building and was beautiful inside and out. There was a list.in the lobby of all the famous people who had stayed there including Pierre Burton, Pierre Trudeau. Peter Mansbridge etc etc The dinner and breakfast were excellent as long as you didn't have a flight to catch(,somewhat slow) the room had all the modern amenities except the shower was in the tub and the vanity was very small. The fixtures were antique but they worked And matched the heritage decor of the room. It was a lovely stay."

"One of the better stays on our trip. Great location, close to Moncton and just minutes from Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, with a fuel station and McDonald's right next door, useful if you're getting an early start. Rooms were clean and spacious. We had a ground floor room with two doors, one of them an exterior door leading straight out to the parking, which made loading and unloading the car really easy. They also have laundry facilities on site with industrial washers and dryers, a nice bonus on a longer trip. Breakfast is included and starts at 7 AM. It's a simple spread, toasted bread, bagels with a good selection of jams and butters, muffins, and fresh fruit, but everything was fresh and well stocked. Coffee was genuinely good, and they provide take-away cups so you can grab it and hit the road. No complaints here."

"This is a beautiful property, with very easy access to the Moncton area. Beds are very comfortable but no AC upstairs does make the bedrooms very hot in warmer weather. Kitchen is large and very well equipped, and sparkling clean throughout. Highly recommended. We will use again if we are back in the area."
