Great Stay

Open and enjoyable home just a few minutes walk to local pebble beach. Christine was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages.

Lovely peaceful holiday

Home well equipped comfortable and beautifully situated. Our only problem as Brits, speaking little French, was the lack of instructions for appliances and nearest restaurants supermarkets pharmacies etc. Thanks for the cider!

house in Brittany near the water

Christine has a beautiful property in the Brest peninsula of Brittany. A wonderful quiet tranquil area near the village of Hopital-Camfrout. House is large, can easily host 4 adults + 3 children, it has two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with three children's beds. A large downstairs with a full kitchen, dining room and living room, and a beautiful terrace. A huge, unkempt yard. I recommend it strongly.

Das war einmal ein schönes Haus, es ist aber leider ungepflegt und heruntergekommen. Die Dusche ist rostig und verschimmelt. Um den Küchenherd herum war eine richtig dicke Fettschicht, die musste ich erst wegschrubben. Die Möbel sind ungepflegt, die Stühle am Esstisch sind nicht die auf den Fotos - richtig unbequem. Ich hatte heftige Rückenschmerzen.Wir sind 2 Tage früher abgereist. Der Gerechtigkeit halber: Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ersetzte eine der völlig verkratzten Pfannen am 2. Séjour agréable, une hôte à l'écoute !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette petite maison en bord de mer, très bien équipée et chaleureuse ( nous avons particulièrement apprécié le sapin de Noël et toute la décoration de saison qui ont ravis nos enfants ! ). Notre hôte fut au petit soin, à l'écoute et très réactive. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Maison au coeur du Finistère au charme délicat

Cette maison répond à tous les critères pour passer d'agréables vacances : charme, confort, propreté, tranquillité, cadre... De la rade de Brest en passant par Camaret et Locronan jusqu'à la forêt de Hoelgat toutes les ballades sont faisables en 1 journée. La proprietaire est une personne tres accueillante et digne de confiance. Maison à ne pas rater.

Ruhe und Frieden in unmittelbarer Küstennähe

Es ist sehr lange her, dass ich nachts die Stille hören konnte. Keine Flugzeuge, keine Autos - nur die Nachtvögel, Grillen und gelegentlich ein Hundewuff. Und das in einer Umgebung, wie sie schöner kaum sein konnte. Keine Lichtverschmutzung der Nächte... wir konnten die Milchstraße und Sternschnuppen beobachten. Wald in der Nähe, die Küste zu Fuß in 8 Minuten im Schlenderschritt erreichbar.... wir wollen wieder dorthin.

Maison très lumineuse

Maison très lumineuse, proche de la mer et située au calme dans une petite rue peu passante. Vaisselle en nombre suffisant pour 4 et de nombreux ustensiles de cuisine. Literie de la chambre parentale confortable. Seul bémol : quelques petites réparations à prévoir et en attendant il faudrait penser a retirer les meubles abîmés dans la chambre des enfants (tiroirs sous le lit, coffre, penderie) car ca peut être dangereux pour des enfants. Mais sinon rien a redire. Merci pour les petites attentions…

eine tolle Unterkunft mit sehr leckerem Frühstück und einer gigantischen Aussicht. Alles war problemlos, Spazierweg mit dem Hund direkt vor der Tür, absolut ruhig und einfach wunderschön!

Fabulous host and location

We loved our stay here. Bear in mind it is rural Brittany so a) you'll need your French language, and b) stuff isn't open 24/7 (or even 9-5, especially on Sundays). Fortunately the property has a good roomy kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and kit, big fridge freezer. Open plan living and dining, lovely patio for al fresco dining and drinks. About 30 mins from Quimper (South) or Brest (North), about 2 mins walk to the estuary (perfect outdoor swimming). Recommend visits to Quimper for shopping, Ile de Bendy area for swimming and Brest has some nice restaurants and bars. Christine is a lovely host. Recommended!
