From the moment we arrived at Jaguar Reef we loved the resort. The rooms felt like our own little sanctuary. I loved the plunge pool and outdoor shower. So private and with so much space of our own. We never had a problem finding chairs at the beach or pool. Everything at the resort was very clean. The grounds were beautifully groomed. And the staff was amazing! Kayla made us feel so welcome and made sure our room was always taken care of. And Lucas and Martin took such good care of us at the bar. We appreciated how they always knew what we wanted. After walking into the village one day,and regretting every minute in the heat...we rented a a golf cart straight from Jaguar reef, which was super easy and convenient, thanks to Greg. We would definitely come again!

Almond Beach Resort exceeded our every expectation! It was our last stay during our trip to Belize and we felt pampered and spoiled. The staff were fantastic (kind and friendly), we felt safe and the property was well taken care of. The pools were clean and the space never felt crowded. We enjoyed early sunrises on the pier and the kids enjoyed swimming and watching the fish from the pier. Definitely a highlight feature! We enjoyed the complimentary kayaks and paddleboards too. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and are already considering returning....which we rarely do! 5 stars for us!

Our room was gorgeous. We had our own balcony and actually had two rooms in our suite the staff and the food and the ocean or just stunning. Had quite a bit of a problem with the sand flies. As soon as I stepped on the sand I was covered my legs were covered and bitten. Otherwise I would’ve given it a five. Linda Boyes.

Our stay at Almond Beach Resort was amazing! The staff was top notch! A special shout out to Brandon, Larry, Greg, Edgar, Jerry, Priscilla & Brenden!! Our room was absolutely beautiful and we had everything we needed. Take advantage of renting a golf cart and go to the village. Lots of great food and great people to meet.

Toilet wasn't flushing well when used. Refill was super slow in the mahogony suite vs the JBS. one of the AC remote was not functional. I was a little disappointed with that but oh well. I messaged staff but they said that they had it fixed. I had to wait 20-30 minutes before the toilet can refill so I can do my business. oh well...

We had booked a deluxe room with plunge pool for our 5 day stay, however upon arrival, our plunge pool seemed to have a leak and could not be fixed during our stay. Needless to say, we were disappointed that we had to pay for something we couldn’t use. The hotel and amenities were great. One comment is the rooms could use a place to put bags/clothes away such as a dresser and a luggage rack would have been nice. The resort was very clean and it was so nice to have the main dock right there to watch sunrises/sunsets and to swim off.

The food at the resort restaurant (The Paddle House) was good, but overpriced in my opinion. That said, everything else about the resort was excellent - staff were first-rate, my particular room (Sandia) was incredible, the resort spaces (including the beach itself) were impeccable, the snorkelling trip the resort organized was great, and I even saw a manatee one morning out on the ocean on my own while using one of the complementary kayaks the resort had available. I would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here and really enjoyed our vacation. The room was wonderful and very close to the sea, with an incredible view of the water right from the bed. We loved the sun loungers on the patio where you can relax throughout the day and take occasional swims in the sea. The staff were friendly and supportive, and we appreciated being able to communicate through WhatsApp. The restaurant was tasty, though a bit expensive. It would be nice to have more grilled options and fresh vegetables on the menu. Thank you very much for a great stay!

We stayed 3 nights at the resort and liked the location. It was off season so it was very empty. The food was overpriced and not so good. We had better food off site. The no see mosquitoes were horrendous and we wished the property would tend to that problem better.
