Blue Moon Cabana is a beachfront house for rent facing the Caribbean Sea in the lovely Garifuna fishing village of Hopkins, Belize. The cabana is centrally located in one of the most popular areas of Hopkins Village and is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, and other popular establishments.
It has a full-service kitchen (cook not included!), 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, a living room with a full-size futon, and a tiled bathroom. The cabana features an open floor plan designed to capture the constant Caribbean breezes, along with ceiling fans throughout to keep the space comfortable. Please note that there is no air conditioning, as the home is designed for natural airflow and a true tropical experience.
Enjoy your own private cabana right on the beach! You will no doubt be spending a lot of time in one of the hammocks out on the 8-foot-wide covered veranda that spans the entire front and one side of the cabana. Surrounded by windows, you will enjoy stunning views and refreshing sea breezes. Tastefully decorated and furnished with locally crafted mahogany furniture, Blue Moon Cabana has everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed while maintaining a Caribbean rustic charm.
The two bedrooms are separated by an enclosed bathroom, and bamboo curtain panels can be closed for additional privacy.
Baby Blue Cabana is an additional (smaller) one-bedroom cabana on the property, including a queen-size bed, bathroom, kitchenette, and front veranda. Situated behind Blue Moon Cabana, it enjoys sea views, has a separate walkway to the public beach, and is just steps from the sea. Baby Blue Cabana also features an open floor plan and is perfect for a single guest or couple. Staying in the larger beachfront cabana and need extra space? Baby Blue Cabana is a great option to keep additional guests close by.
Hopkins is a friendly and vibrant village, and because Blue Moon Cabana is located in the center, you can easily walk to everything. The area reflects authentic village life—mornings may begin with tropical birds and the occasional rooster, while evenings and weekends can bring a lively atmosphere from nearby restaurants, bars, and local gatherings, especially during holidays and special events.
