It's connected to an Old Chicago restaurant so there is no need to find a place to eat. Rooms are clean and well stocked. Thank you to all the staff!!”

“I was disappointed with the pool which is why I rated it a 4. It needed cleaned really bad!! There were dead bugs, heavy leaf debris and hair mucking it up. Made me NOT want to swim that’s for sure! The room was very clean, was mostly quiet during our stay and the front desk clerks were very nice. ”

“Elevator was broken BUT I was alerted & told I could cancel my reservation w/o any penalty. I stayed anyway (a couple flights of stairs was good exercize). TV did not work properly in my initial room BUT was given a better room with a good TV. Staff did their best so I will use Canfield again next time I stay in Dbq. [I've stayed in Hiltons & Hyatt's that have also had 'things' break down. What's important is how staff responds!]”

“Wow! This place is amazing! The staff, very kind and accomadating, heated pool, our room has three beds, the property is peaceful and beautiful, clean rooms with fridge/microwave, and extras, park conveniently in front of your own room, table and two chairs outside your window (with an ash tray for smokers), covered picnic tables, etc. Shopping is convenient, and interesting attractions, as well as great dining options in the area. They even have coffee, tea, local newspapers, and fruit……
