"Room was good and bathroom excellent. No real amenities outside the rooms but local eateries were close by and very good. Picture on the hotel.com website of Shorelines is NOT the Moira Lake Motel by a long shot!"
Family Cottage Retreat on Rice Lake (Sleeps 7 & 2 Bathrooms)

"Cottage itself was nice with lots of space to sleep and hangout but could’ve used some modern updates like dishwasher, coffee table and bedside tables, lamps and outlets that are more accessible. The title of this cottage is misleading as it’s not actually on Rice Lake but has a lovely view of the river and farmland. The dock was very small and not very sturdy and bring water shoes if you’re like to get in to use the kayak or peddle boat. There is lots of space and chairs to sit on the multilevel decks and is very close to some cute towns where you can go shopping or out to eat. All in all it was a lovely spot to host a girls weekend. Thank you Raj for helping us have a wonderful time."

Riverside Area Cabin 7 Fully Renovated Fishing Cabin

"Cabin 7 is a redone fish hut. Its great for 1 to 2 people. I would suggest this if you are using it for rest and food. Its all one room with a bathroom off to the side. I did get to clean it a bit the first night. Just a little bug hunting. Again it's an old fish hut. The other cottages on the property are for more the city or big family group people.The property is well maintained; brushes are trim the flower beds are beautiful and the property is clean. Yay Ron!!!!! He so great. He's the property manager and maintains the property he will stop and talk with you. You will see him working morning to night. He takes great pride in is work. Any time you text him with something he will be knoking on your door in a short time. He checks in and always friendly. Contacting the host. I dont think I actually was messaging him. It was mostly Christy. Her and Ron are what make this place. Both very attentive to there work. I realy had no interaction with cleaning staff. They get your place clean and ready. Then clean it when your done. The sheets were clean and same for the cloths and towels. The advertisement that I had seen said on site laundry. That's in the other cabbins not number 7. There is no shared fire pit every cottage gets there own. The one I had seen for this also said shared fire pit. But bonus you get your own. The shared dock is beautiful and the little beach is cute. Im already looking to book for next year. Look forward to seeing you again next year Ron."

"The cottage was well equipped, clean, and as advertised. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. A great space if you have kids to entertain on a rainy day! Beautiful cottage on a quiet street. Quite a few steps to the water, not great for anyone with mobility or health issues if you want water access. River is nice for canoeing or kayaking, but too weedy for swimming. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend if you're in the area!"

"If you are looking for a cottage to recharge your batteries, this is the one! Coffees on the dock in the morning, drinks on the deck in the evening as the sun sets and the loons dive for their dinner, this is the quintessential Canadian cottage. Spotless with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, this cottage has it all. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions, the neighbors were warm and welcoming making this a memory we will treasure. We will definitely return."
