Charming east-facing room, with a two-person sitting area immediately outside on a shared boardwalk for morning people, overlooking the Trent river. 15-20 walk to the downtown and parks, with extensive river-side trails for hiking/biking on either bank. 90 minute drive to the Sandbanks Provincial Park which makes it a great overnight option if you're inclined for a more quiet, out-of-the-way stay.

The property has a unique location on the river which provides a great view and intimate connection with the water. Although the exterior speaks of a traditional motel the rooms have been nicely updsted with very comfortable beds and premium bedding.

The rooms were spotless and welcoming. The owners even included bottled water, cookies and real creamettes in the snack tray. They had a binder full of area attractions. There was even free signed in streaming It was a lovely local and deck chairs to sit in the deck and watch the boats go by. Didn’t want to leave.

The property is on the Trent Severn waterway in an idyllic peaceful setting. There was a sitting area by the water that was so beautiful and quiet. I highly recommend this Inn to anyone that wants a relaxing vacation on the river. Great restaurants nearby.

The owners are so sweet. Sitting right on the water which makes it a bit like a cottage. It’s clean and basic but perfect for a short stay and walkable to all of cute Campbellford. Road trip stop over, working in the city, or a mini trip to the cute city.

We loved this place. A few minor maintenance needs, but they were more than compensated for by the beautiful and restful waterside setting. Bed was comfortable. Room was small but adequate. Nice touches : real creamers for morning coffee (no powdered poison). We'd come back again given a reason to travel to the area.

Our stay at Water’s Edge was short but sweet. The location was beautiful and have a view of the waterfront was lovely. The room itself was slightly dated but was clean and the hosts were kind and friendly. The in room coffee and cookies was a sweet surprise. Parking was plentiful and not an issue. The room’s smell somewhat matched the decor- slightly musty and dated. The pressure in the shower was wonderful and very clean. The shower took awhile to heat up. Overall, we would stay again as it was as advertised.
