  • "A gorgeous view of Lake Balboa--and you owe it to yourself to watch the sun rise over the lake at least one morning during your stay!"

    Grab one of our kayaks and explore the vastness of this gem of a resort. Or just relax on our spacious dock or the cozy back patio and enjoy this quiet corner of the lake.

    As the sun sinks low, sink into a comfy couch and stream your favorite shows, or read a good book--or cook up a feast in our fully-stocked kitchen! Affordable luxury at its best.

    Just minutes from the Balboa Marina and the popular Sunset Grill and Dulce Vita Italian Restaurant--and now we have a Domino's nearby. If you venture to the west side of the Village, you have to try Amore Pizzeria (the calzones are to die for) and Hibachi Grill!

    And don't forget, you can rent a pontoon boat from the marina and dock it at Serenity at the Lake!

House was clean, kitchen & supplies were well stocked. Hosts communication was good.We were informed at time of booking that lake had been drawn down for maintenance & no guarantee it would be back to normal by time of our stay. However, we didn't realize that would mean the lake would be 100% unusable.

We enjoyed our stay with hopes of relaxing as a family on the lake with a few trips into Hot Springs for fun activities. We loved how the home had everything we needed down to the smallest detail. We even enjoyed the glimpses of the pair of bald eagles hunting over the lake. We had hopes of kayaking - we wished the listing would have reflected the drawn down lake levels or more effort made to reach us regarding that information. Once we knew it was too late to make changes to the reservation it would have been nice to offer a discounted rate. That’s why we are leaving 4 stars in those areas. We appreciate the immediate response to messages during our stay and still enjoyed the views to an extent. And the home was cozy. Thank you for your hospitality!

I spent 3 weeks in this lovely home. Every comfort was accounted for and the home was equipped with anything we could have needed. The hosts were very helpful and promptly answered any questions I had. The only disappointment was that Lake Balboa was drained in preparation for dredging. The hosts let me know this ahead of time, so I knew I wouldn't have my hoped for lake view! BUT, the home and it's location left me all ready to plan my next stay in Hot Springs Villlage on a full Lake Balboa!!

We enjoyed our time at this house. It was furnished with anything you may need. The host payed attention to every detail. Upon arriving we found snacks and beverages. The homel was very clean inside and out. We spent time outside in the evenings and it was quite peaceful. I highly recommend this home.

My family stayed here while in town for a funeral, it was the perfect place for us to have dinners together and relax with a glass of wine after some hard days. The home was inviting and offered everything they needed while in town.
