Cute but lacking
We rented a place that has two different houses on the same property. My parents arrived first and I was overjoyed to hear my family liked it but was confused at their description bc it didnt appear to match what I had booked. Upon arrival I found that we were a different house on the property. Overall this was an none issue bc it was more updated.
We found that there were no washcloths and the owner did say they would check with housekeeper and never got back with us. Initially there were only 4 towels for 5 grown adults but after some searching found them on a top shelf in the closet.
We also found a picture that possibly had fallen in the bedroom along with a broken outlet cover.
A subsequent message about the coffee maker/keurig went unanswered.
Other things to note: back bedroom with bunk bed had no curtain. Owner indicated that there was noone in back house due to renovations however while staying there a truck did drive to back rental property. It made my sister staying in the room uncomfortable.
We were surprised about the bunk beds with 5 adults over the age of 45. I wished the description had clarified it better.
We had cleaned up after ourselves but this morning found ants in my maple candy that my parents had brought as a treat.
Also be sure to bring own ice as only two small trays available.
Pros: clean, quiet, relaxing, convenient to amenities
cons: poor communication, bedding, linens, curtains for privacy
