Houma Houma Golf Course Hotels

"When you check in make sure they have you accounted for your entire stay. My daughter had four nights stay with Expedia and Hampton only had her for three nights stay. Her card was charged for the four nights and had to convince the Hampton people she was right. They insisted she had to call Expedia about the matter. Not no but no way. They finally acknowledged that she was right. A customer should be given more acknowledgement up front and not have to completely keep explaining that they have and paid for four nights rather than three. We should not have had to stay in their lobby for 15 or 20 minutes having to explain. They blamed it on Expedia which I disagree. I’ve stayed at Hampton for 3 stays in the last couple of months, total of 9 days. My next one is coming up so I have to rethink it. Hope things get better for communication with their guest."

"The breakfast was fair and we didn’t have any body soap. I spilled alittle bit of water on the carpet and I cleaned up up and the carpet was really dirty but it looked clean. The front of the building looks very nice but the side and back had trash all over and that’s where we walked our dog. I think for the price it was fine"

"There were some problems with our key cards but the staff fixed them with no issues. We were at the end of the hall on the first floor and the key card reader on the outside door right by our room was broke so we couldn’t use it. The rooms could use some upkeep with paint and furniture but the room was clean. The water pressure was terrible in the shower. There was a funny smell in the hotel lobby and they burn incense pretty often. Overall if you need a clean place to sleep and don’t care about looks or it being fancy, this is the place. The breakfast was decent. Nothing spectacular but it did the trick for us."

"Once again a fabulous stay in Houma. This location is quite and quaint. Neighbors walking are very friendly. Backyard is a beautiful park. My niece ( she's in her forties)got to fly a kite, we saw a group of young children learning some fundamentals of flag football. Walkers, rollerblades and joggers. The location is ideally located to restaurants, groceries stores (shout out to Cannattas) and seafood vendors. Definitely a return location for us "
