「The hotel is nice in general. Amazing breakfast with Amazing view. Breakfast only available between 8:00-9:00 the other option from 9:00-10:00 was already sold out at our check in time at 16:00 the day before. We had no aircondition in the room. The room had 35 degrees on our arrival. We were not able to sleep due to the heat.」

「Staff very nice. Breakfast was good. Aircon didn’t work. Shower didn’t drain well. They need fans in breakfast area. Parking was interesting, but we managed. Neighborhood isn’t the best but a beautiful view of the mountains.」

「Truly one of the most special places in the world, no place like it. Incredible setting, delicious food and top attention to detail. Patrick and Lamla (spelling?) were terrific and looked after us like family, even driving out to buy me some zamaleks when the hotel didnt stock it. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail terrif. Chef's Warehouse restaurant is a must. This was our second visit in a year and cannot wait to come back again. Very highly recommend it. 」

「Beautiful setting. Great and spacious bedroom and bathroom suite. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens which were quiet. At present their restaurant and spa are closed which was disappointing. I would recommend having a car to stay here as it isn’t possible to walk anywhere and it is c30 minutes in a taxi to Cape Town and 15 minutes to Hout bay. We had expected to be able to eat in the hotel. 」

「Love staying here. Beautiful property, wonderful staff, slept like a baby. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is simple but lovely. I even worked out with the owner, Martin. Very family-owned vibe. Get a SPA/massage from Susie. She was amazing. All in all, a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. I will return! Oh yeah, spend a beach day at Llandudno, perhaps the prettiest beach I've ever seen at sunset, frigid waters but just a lovely place to send an afternoon. 」

「The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night.
