Ikhaya Lodge was the perfect stay for our Constansia wine day. We walked to Beau, Silvermist, and the Hop-on Hop-off bus. The rooms were very spacious and the property was lovely

Great location and lovely accommodation

Lovely place and extremely well situated for visiting the constantia wine route (walkable to Beau Constantia) and Kirstenbosch. Well presented and decorated lounge areas, both inside and out. Great to have nice coffee and sweets available at all times. Room (Pumba) was a little smaller than expected but absolutely fine for what we needed. Shower was lovely. Did struggle a bit getting our cases down to the room, steps quite steep and having to pass very close to another room which felt a bit intrusive on them. Great garden setting, felt very tranquil and lovely to sit on the decking and just take it all in.

Our favourite place in Cape Town

We loved our stay at Ikhaya Safari lodge. The photos don’t do the views justice - it was simply amazing. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the rooms were so big and spacious. We stayed here for 5 days while exploring Cape Town and Constantia and didn’t want to leave. Kathe made us feel so at home and at ease and we will 100% be coming back next time we are in SA. Make sure you stay here - you won’t regret it!

De lodge ligt prachtig, mooi uitzicht en grote kamers. De verzorging is ook heel fijn, heerlijk ontbijt en erg vriendelijk. Wat we minder vonden was de gehorigheid en de honden. Wij zaten in de Zebra suite. Die was erg gehorig, we hoorden de deurbel (erg hard), de muziek, tv en praten in de gang en de lounge en op het ontbijt- en borrel terras naast onze kamer. Dat was erg jammer. De twee honden van de manager zien de gasten graag, ze vragen aandacht met hun balletjes en likken aan je voeten bij het zwembad of tijdens het ontbijt. Qua prijs-kwaliteit vonden we het tegenvallen, voor 200 euro per nacht verwachten we een rustige kamer en geen honden.
