「I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

「Quiet spacious rooms with everything you need to self-cater (sharp knife, pans etc.) as well as many delicious options to eat out nearby. Excellent grocery shopping in the department store less than five minutes walk. Taxis and local buses easy to find/use. No 32 takes you to the caves which are a fascinating look at gypsy life. All in all a great base to feel like you belong in Granada.」
