「This is an incredible place to stay. It was problem the best lodge we've ever been to. It has stunning views across the fjord which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It's really well equipped and was always a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you!」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. 」

「Great location and very near to church in Akureyri. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and should be the best I met in 2-week stay in Iceland. Rooms are normal in size, neat and tidy. Breakfast included in room charge though abit overpriced」

「There are two cottages in this hostel. We stayed at cottage Akur. It is extremely comfy and spacious with three rooms. There is laundry machine in the cottage so it helps a lot! Supermarket- Bonus is very close by.」

「This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed.」
