Cordis, Beijing Capital Airport by Langham Hospitality Group
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful hotel. I am pleased with everything - they provided us with a shuttle from Terminal 3 with really helpful drivers, a quick and easy check-in. The room was clean, well-organized with all the necessities for travelers - hairdryer, floor scale, shower and a bathtub, even the USB cord for device charging.
We spent two nights there, on the way to another country and on the way back home, to USA. Both times was a perfect experience. Really quiet, no noise from nearby Airport whatsoever. The shower had hot water and nice massage showerheads.
The breakfast was amazing btw. Even though its an additional charge, it was well worth it. It was a buffet with all possible dishes, from hot oatmeal, nuts and fresh fruits and cheese and cold cuts to some hot Chinese traditional cuisine dishes.
Definitely choosing this hotel chain for future stays."
"Location great. Restaurant around the corner very good.
Room was ok, with tiny bathroom, a bit pricey for what it is, but then the location was great."
"Awesome place with beautiful views of the Great Wall of China. Paul and his staff treated us very kindly and we're very helpful I definitely would visit there again"
"This stay was absolutely sublime. Located peacefully in the heart of the mountains where you can see parts of the Great Wall, it’s the perfect base camp for those wishing to tackle one of the wonders of the world! Host Andrew and his wife were phenomenal in their hospitality. Super responsive from the moment the booking was made. We had originally booked a two-bedded room for three travellers (2 men & woman) and upon Andrew realising the make up of our group, he allowed us to have an additional room so everyone could sleep in their own bed, without charging us any extra cost. Andrew went above and beyond in his attempts to provide us with an authentic Chinese experience, personally recommending a lunch stop at a local Chinese restaurant neathe Mutianyu area following our Great Wall hike earlier that morning. He was very generous with his time, driving to the Beijing Capital Airport to pick us up despite our flight being delayed over 30 minutes and again to return us to the Beijing City Centre at the end of our stay (charging a competitive minimal fare relative to other rideshare options operating at that time). The homestay itself had all adequate facilities including wifi and was a short drive from the starting point of the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, with Andrew providing complimentary car drop-off and pick-up service. Complimentary breakfast provided (and for those lucky enough, you may even be greeted by Andrew’s cute pets, a cat, kittens and a dog)."
"A hidden gem within the great wall for an authentic and genuine visit of the historical site. This is a warm and welcoming family who go beyond to accommodate, I highly recommend this secluded, less known bed and breakfast to anyone seeking a more cultural and emersive experience!"
