"Wonderful large rooms, was really great to see a 90s style kept in such great order. Lots of beautiful timber work, ornate ceilings, stunning chandeliers everything was very stylish. I hope they keep this hotel it was a little bit outside of the centre. But it overlooked the river and mountains fantastic views. The staff were really great and the rooms were very clean on the whole we totally enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning on our next holiday. Thank you for a wonderful state."
"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Melia Chiang Mai over Chinese New Year, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel arranged a seamless airport pickup, which was a great start to our trip. The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They even assisted us in booking a couple of excellent tours around the area.
The buffet breakfast every morning was a highlight; delicious variety and great quality to fuel our days. I really enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the relaxing pool—perfect for unwinding. Location-wise, a lot of Chiang Mai's nightlife, markets, and restaurants are just a short walk away, making it super convenient.
Overall, a luxurious and comfortable spot with excellent service. We'd happily return!"
"We have just finished a six night stay at Veranda High Chiang Mai, and it was one of the best Chinese New Year holidays we have had in a long time. My wife and I have very busy professional lives in Shanghai and were looking for a place where we could truly relax, even while traveling with our six year old son, and this resort fully met our expectations. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, always professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, with guests clearly there to relax. The diverse clientele also contributed to a very pleasant environment. The pool area is outstanding, with beautiful views and impressive sunsets, and the poolside restaurant is very convenient. The evening restaurant offers a good selection of Thai and international dishes of solid quality. Our room was very clean and spacious enough for the three of us to stay comfortably for a full week, with a large sofa bed for our son. We also appreciated the visible environmental efforts, such as solar panels and recycled water bottles. The free shuttle service is a real advantage, making trips to downtown Chiang Mai easy and stress free despite the remote location. As a long distance runner, I enjoyed running in the area in the cool mornings, although countryside dogs are common outside the resort. Inside the resort, wildlife such as birds, frogs, and small bats adds to the natural charm. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly return."
"I had a fantastic stay at Travelodge Nimman and would absolutely return.
The breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was an impressive selection each morning — fresh pastries, excellent coffee, juices, milk, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The live cooking stations were especially great, with both an omelet station and a noodle station, along with fried eggs made to order. There were also hot options like fried rice, steamed rice, and various stir-fry dishes. To top it off, they even offered desserts such as banana bread and orange cake. It was a very complete and satisfying spread.
The rooftop pool is beautiful and a great place to relax, although the water was a bit colder than expected. The gym is on the smaller side but well-equipped enough for a solid workout.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. They include a safe, a large walk-in shower, and a fridge, and bottled water is restocked daily — small details that make a big difference.
One of the best surprises was the Friday night market located directly in front of the hotel. It was amazing — tons of food stalls, endless shopping, and even a beer garden with a live band playing on stage. The atmosphere was lively and fun without needing to travel anywhere.
The location is excellent. It’s within walking distance to Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center and One Nimman, plus there are countless restaurants nearby. Highly recommend! "
