Excellent property in a great location. Staff were very responsive and helpful. One tip, is that if you are arriving before checkin, speak to staff before your arrival and they will help you sort out somewhere to leave your bags.

We had a very nice stay! Clean, cute room with a common fridge / coffee maker on each floor. A message from the hotel came through the app before check-in and the door codes worked just fine when we arrived. Would stay here again.

There was no one staffing the front office so the experience felt cold and institutional. Additionally, just off the front lobby, everyday a man was give haircuts to clients, in a side room, seemingly without a business license, nor any business identification, nor any posted cosmetology/barber state license. It would appear that the owner of the Howard hotel is allowing an illegal business to operate on the first floor, just off the lobby, allowing clients to come and go in order to secure haircuts. Very strange!!

This was the perfect place to stay! We had easy access to parking on the street. The owner communicated with us about keyless entry into the building and our room. The building and our room were decorated with a classy style. We wish we had stayed longer.
