Being an Inn and driving up to it I wasn't sure. When we checked in and got our room, the owner was nice. She offered free loaners of bear spray for hiking the area. The room was super clean, the area was quiet, and check out was also super easy.

The ladies who run the hotel established a family-friendly environment, and were kind enough to accommodate my husband's room change request (he disliked how the front door locked, so he asked for a different room, and they bent-over backwards to accommodate his request). It was a wonderful place to stay.

Pros: Room was enormous, like a suite size. Had so much space. Place was clean, newly decorated, well kept. Parking was plentiful, every room had a wide space outside their door for a large vehicle. Room had mini fridge with freezer shelf and microwave. Would definitely recommend. Easy, short drive into Glacier NP. Cons: We were not invited to any breakfast when we checked in, so we just assumed they didn't have any. Not really space for it in the office anyway? There is a laundry room, but like the office, has limited hours. Make arrangements ahead of time if you plan to check in after 9:00PM.

The Mini Golden Inns motel was very nice. I messed up and reserved a room for the following instead of the day of, and they were able to accommodate us. The room was so nice, clean and fresh. I loved the bear pictures on the wall and the bear rug on the floor. I woulds highly recommend this place!!! *****

The property is well maintained, rooms are big, clean and the staff is very supportive, kind and helpful. The amenities are also very good, the shower head is especially awesome. Coffee is great, they even provided me paper plates and hot water. The only small complaint I have is that their beds are super squeaky. They make noise whenever we move. The mattresses are comfortable, but the bed frames needs some fixing, it sometimes woke me middle of the night with the noise.

The inside is definitely not what I expected when I saw the outside. Newish and updated and very nice. The location & affordability (which is why I chose this establishment in the first place) is just a few miles from Glacier National Park gate. The front desk even gave us bear spray (from a pile of unused bear spray that other guests had donated over time) which we happily donated back because we luckily didn't need it. "Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it"!

I did not expect such a wonderful, clean establishment. Attention to detail- throw pillows, a throw at the end of each bed, Folgers coffee, dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, frig., microwave, and nice vinyl floors.

Great value, great location - only minutes from GNP west entrance, and close to food and services (including Starbucks for those early start mornings). If you plan to check in late (9 pm) be sure to call ahead for arrangements. Would definitely stay here again.
