The location was excellent, situated directly on Highway 60 with walking access to a grocery store and a bakery. The room was acceptable for an overnight stay; however, I was frustrated that the sliding bathroom door lacked a lock, which makes it difficult to maintain privacy when traveling with children. Overall, it was a good experience, and Dan is an incredible host!

Great outdoor area, clearly made with care, with a small playground, swings, BBQs, and plenty of green space. Pet-friendly and just minutes away from Algonquin Park.

The grounds and office entrance are in terrible shape. The path down to a river takes you behind the rooms where you really see how poorly maintained the property is. The room itself was a little better. It's ok for a late check-in, a bed, a shower and move on.

It was mid week, so not so busy as you might get on the weekend so the place was nice and quiet, saw some other guests enjoy a campfire in the fire pit, i enjoyed the sound of the river a bit of road noise, bed was comfy, nice to have a fridge and coffee maker waiting.

Great location on the way to Algonquin. Family run and the hosts are very attentive. My son and I had a great Father’s Day here exploring the area, and there’s even a beautiful trail behind the hotel with a scenic river. The rooms are comfy and beds are well-kept and clean. Will be coming back here in the future with other family members.

Had a wonderful weekend stay! The room was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had everything I needed to relax. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Such a cozy and beautifully decorated room! It felt like a home away from home, and the attention to detail really made my weekend extra special. The staff was incredibly welcoming. I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend.
