Great Location
The apartment is in a great, safe location with very close proximity to many things. The apartment was just okay, It was decorated very nicely, but It is an older/dated unit. I think it would be nice to add a dresser in the main bedroom, we lived off our suitcases on the floor. We were also looking for a laundry basket.
The only real complaint I have was getting through the gate when we checked in. I let the host know we were driving from the Midwest and wouldn’t arrive until midnight or so. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, however, when we drove up the gate would not open with the code or key fob. There was no phone number to call, so I tried messaging the host through the anpp and tried the Ring doorbell several times with no response. We were very tired after a 9 hour drive and ended up parking on the street in a residential area. Thankfully we were not towed or ticketed. During the day, we did not have any further issues getting through the gate. I do feel the host should have been available, even though it was late. We did receive an apology, but if it were me, I would have given some sort of compensation for the inconvenience.
