My fiance and I loved our say at Amfora Hvar grand beach resort! We arrived at the property early and the front desk was very accommodating with storing our bags and allowing us to use the pool prior to check in. We laid at the pool and got lunch for a few hours until our room was ready, which was still 2 hours before check-in. The pool has a nice resort vibe and pool staff were fairly attentive with drink orders. Our room appeared to be newly renovated- it was clean, beautifully decorated with an impressive bathroom. We appreciated the mini bar and the bathroom stocked with toiletries. We did not hear our neighbors. The hotel restaurant/bar has a wonderful patio overlooking the pool and Adriatic sea. Although we just had the focaccia appetizer, it was some of the best bread and olive oil of our entire trip. The resort even has a shuttle service for bags for the nearby ferry, so your bags will be dropped off allowing you to walk the short 10 minutes to the ferry port/town uninhibited with your bags. the cherry on top was the breakfast buffet! It had endless options of food and drink with floor to ceiling windows of the amazing view. We wish we had stayed here for more than 1 night and hope to go back!
