"We drove around for 1/2 hour searching for this hotel, up and down dirt roads in a 4x4. Could not find it. Phoned the hotel, no answer. So we booked another hotel down the highway. Sure hope hotels.com refunds my purchase"

We arrived fairly late following a long drive from Chivay so were glad to be able to get a good meal in the restaurant, as the main Puno town is 15 minutes' taxi ride away.
