Excellent location and outstanding amenities make The Lazy Heifer Ranch House a truly relaxing getaway. Resting peacefully on a small hillside, this ranchette is only 5 minutes from historic downtown Broken Bow, 7 minutes to Mt. Fork river for kayaking and only 10 minutes from the excitement and adventure of Hochatown , Beavers Bend , and Broken Bow Lake. This home away from home has it all. Its rich country charm, complete with rustic barn style doors is the perfect place to celebrate a special event or just a weekend to get away, relax and recharge. The Lazy Heifer is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom modern ranch style retreat fully equipped with outdoor fire pit, grill, deck, hot tub, pool table, corn hole boards, firewood on site and stocked private pond for fishing with a private country setting and paved roadway that leads to its location. This property can also be pet friendly for an additional fee.

Ponds on site with lots of fishing. Close enough to town to get what we need but far enough to be in the woods. Lots of space and amazing night views! Will return with the family

Perfect for family and friends gathering
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean and had everything we needed. Pool table, dart & soccer table were perfect for the kids. Doing jacuzzi at night with so many stars in the sky was awesome!

Large lot with lots of outdoor space
The property sits on a large lot (I believe it’s 15 acres). There is a pond to fish in and cows that roam the property. At the cabin are a game room with foosball and pool table as well as TVs in the game room and living room where you can stream video from various services or stream music over Spotify or other services if you like. There are 3 bedrooms and multiple pull out couches to sleep a decent amount of people and the dining table is large enough for 8 or so. A nice place to get away for a few days.

The space was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. We could gather together in the living spaces, and we had space for privacy too. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed the outside grill too. The Lazy Heifer met all our family's needs.

Lots of cows
Place was nice to stay for our busted bow weekend. If it wasn't for the slow moving freight train and its horn after midnight, the stay would have been perfect (not the owner's fault). The cows were too scared to let even my 10 year old come close but that's okay with me. The game room TV didn't work but the other TV worked just fine. It got cold at night so the hot tub felt really good.
